The Chaos Effect - Omega (Gold) :thumb:

Deathmate - Red (Gold) :thumb:

Eternal Warrior #36

Eternal Warrior - Fist & Steel #1

Eternal Warriors #1 - Retailers Review Copy

Captain Johner & the Aliens #1, 2

IronMan/X-O - in heavy Metal #1

I have been noticing alot more Acclaim books popping up lately. Havent really been picking them up. Still working on the valiant books.

Just wanted to share my Gold discovery! I'll scan them and add them to my gallery of minor acquisitions. :D
Score dude! There's a few of us that regularly give $5 each for any of the retailer review we find! :thumb:

I think $5 is still a good deal.

Just got back from holiday and my Chaos Effect Alpha Red was waiting.
It cost me £9.99 ($18ish).

Glad i held out for cheap copy, having nearly paid $50+ on numerous occasions.
This was the first copy i have seen for sale in the UK since i decided to complete my Valiants about three years ago.
Grades about 9.2.
It looks 9.6 and is lovely and flat but has less than 1mm nick at bottom right cover.

Absolutely deal!! I almost bid on that but I'm spending money elsewhere right now. The way I add up that lot, it's at least $85 worth of books if you wanted to turn around and sell them today! :thumb:

Agree. Just the Deadside #1-3 is a deal for $26. It's like getting a good deal on Deadside set and getting the rest for free. :thumb:

That was on my watch list from the beginning.

Great deal. Like Igg said, the Deadside are worth that alone.

I had a feeling it was one of us. Congrats.

Went to a local show today, and surprisingly found some deals on Valiant books. The two biggest deals I got were...

Harbinger #1 NM+ with coupon... 50 cents

Turok: Evolution EB Games low grade with a large rip in the cover, but complete $1

So not anything super, but I did stop by a place today and got a few books to check off my list.

I got all the Sliders books (except for Armada #1 & #2) for .50 each.

Nothing I was really looking for, but books I needed.

I'll check a book off my list for .50 each and every day. :thumb:

Non-Valiant, but I was kinda pumped:

Comico Primer #s 1, 4, 5 and 6 for $2 each. All are 9.0 or better. That's my second copy of #5, and I paid way less for a slightly better copy this time around  . Now all I need is an affordable #2.

It's kind of a stupid reason, though, isn't it?

Max the Hare? I really doubt Kieth had the Maxx in mind when he made this character. I never actually read my copy of Primer #5, but I'm guessing it's probably not the greatest piece of work Sam Kieth has ever done. :?

Always fun to score a Comico Primer cheaply.

I need a Primer 6 to complete the run.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.
