mrknapp33 wrote:Is anyone here bidding on the CGC 9.9 Deathmate Green? I am considering bidding, but not if I end up bidding against someone here.
I am.

I'm bidding on a bunch, but don't expect to win more than 10-20 because they are low bids. :)

FYI
What I plan on bidding on:
Deathmate Green 9.9
One of the Solar #10 CGC 9.6
Shadowman #0 Gold CGC 9.8
and maybe the X-Men #36-38, 40-45

I have a feedback of 167, in case any of you are interested.
For any who might be bidding on the above, if you list your feedback score, I could tell who it is and let you know what I am willing to bid.

:o The Deathmate Green 9.9 just sold for $247 :o

The last recorded sale in June was for ~$87. Are we in a recession? :hm:

I only managed one book in my "low bid" game.

Harbinger #15 signed by Howard Simpson and Maurice Fontenot - CGC 9.8 (Green label)
I like that Howard Simpson puts a date with his signature... '93 :thumb:

prices I thought were a bit on the high side, considering what the other books ended at:

Bloodshot #5 9.8 $33.50
Deathmate Epilogue 9.8 $48.00
Eternal Warrior #4 9.8 $35.50
Harbinger #24 9.8 $47.77
Magnus #28 9.8 $56.00

These prices are what I expected with the first round....

Although, Deathmate Epilogue for nearly $50...and not even Gold!

<shudder>

Nice to see my predictions and analyses play out accurately.....

Why I don't make a fortune doing this for a living, I have no idea....

So, people, take this as your cue: it's now time, once more, to buy.

Oh, and on an unrelated note...

Look at the massive number of nice, higher mid-grade FF books they had for sale, and the relatively low prices they sold them for...

Just goes to show how not rare mid 60's Marvel books aren't.....

Yes, I had some "Across the board" standards being applied... :-) I already have a 15 9.8....

Isn't that 15 with a signiture a 9.6?

Yes, I make mistakes all the time. Anyone who gave you the impression that I don't (or that I THINK I don't) is lying to you to advance an agenda....

This was a brain fumble, though, not a typo. My brain actually switched gears halfway between typing the sentence, doubtless because I was thinking of 5 other things at the time.

Which actually concerns me.....
