Noticed this on the DF website tonight. For those interested in the Acclaim/DF signed versions.....

http://www.dynamicforces.com/htmlfiles/p-C104537.HTML

Looks like it's only signed by Priest which was a 250 book signing. The Priest/Bright co-signing was 500 issues. Enjoy.....as for the inclusive Turok 1 (insert your own joke here).

I've never heard of that. Do you have one? Does it come with a DF COA?

I finally received a set from Dynamic Forces yesterday. It's the same signed Quantum & Woody #1 that DF issued back in '97. It even has Bright's sig with a '97 under it. The only difference I can tell is that the DF signed version of this book that came out in '97 had a COA card #d to 500, but this one has an unnumbered COA card. It's almost like they had a bunch of leftover signed copies that they just recently came up with new COAs for in order to move them?

I've been away for a good bit of time because I decide to go back to school in the evenings to go along with my job, wife, & kids... So, I haven't had much time left for comics. I've still got them all, but I haven't bought much. I was hoping somebody could fill me in on the happenings of the last year/year-&-a-half? What's up with the IBooks stuff & who owns the Valiant properties? Anything in the works for new books? What Valiant promos (VcVSS) have the fans put out there for purchase? Is there anything available for sale still? Any new rare books/promos been unearthed lately? I've been meaning to get more involved here lately, but my free time is still a rarity. Anything you folks can tell me is appreciated. Thanks, ~Erskine

Very weird with the DF signed issue. Guess they had a surplus of signed Q&W's sitting around....I would have thought they'd be numbered.

Have there been new fan projects?? Go check things out! There are still a couple of the latest availabe -- Psi-lords flat covers -- signed/remarked/and framed. All ready for display in your mancave. :thumb:

Wonder if there're any Turoks out there without the chromium.

(though I would rather have one without the story)

I just recently picked up this CEAR signed by Bob Layton and Bernard Chang. It was the prize in the UCI/Valiant Chaos Sweepstakes and comes with an embossed COA from Universal Collectibles Inc. in New York.

I would appreciate it if anyone can identify the third signature on the cover (bottom right) for me. I am also looking for more info on the sweepstakes.

That's cool that you knew that. I always figured it was Bernand just scribbling "BC" after his signature. :thumb:
