If I'm thinking of what your thinking of...those were wall mounts. they had those hanging on the wall in the office as refrence guides. Each issue was in one.Lightning Strike wrote:Hey John, what's that item that looks like Warriors of Plasm #1 in a case? Is it slabbed or is there anything else that's in it?

Nice to see so much love in the room.
You guys rapid fire back and forth so fast I read the whole thread and your losing me. man I'm an old foggy. That time period was so stressfull and hazy to me I don't remember half of it. I think I did layouts for Schism which I forgot about until I saw the pages posted.
Also I have an entire issue of Plasm inked but not lettered that was never published.

svair wanted to see if there are enough Defiant fans here to support a fan project. I asked Dave Lapham and Greg Boone to check out this thread from the thier respective threads in the Valiant General Discussion forum.svair wrote:Do we have a large Defiant fanbase here?...
The two J's and I are looking into doing something defiant related ...
DL offered up some of his Warriors of Plasm artwork on eBay and I THINK it's already sold. It looks like Brother J might have bought them, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
I think that's it.

It looks like some interesting stuff, but they had no idea of prices on it, so they basically wanted everyone to submit PM's and make offers. I'm guessing most of the stuff is probably gone by now. If that's NOT the case, John needs to let us know.
There was also some talk of doing a Defiant fan project, but no information was provided.
Dave Lapham was selling some pages from Warriors of Plasm #0, I just picked them up in his recent eBay auctions, looking forward to receiving them.

I really dislike making offers. Its hard for me to decide what to offer for things. Yeah, I know some collectors will say to offer what you think its worth, but a person hates to go to the max or beyond for one thing when they would like several items and are on a budget. At the same time, you hate to make a lowball offer that might insult a seller you like. Its also hard to make an offer when you have no idea what something is worth and the seller doesn't seem to know either. The really bad thing is that when you make an offer it can tie up your funds until you hear back.Brother J wrote:

I made offers on a few of the Defiant items in July but never heard back. I guess my offers were way to low, but it would have been nice to have heard a counter offer, or a sorry its already sold or something. I guess I could have sent a pm asking, but I had already sent a couple asking for prices, and the one making an offer so I didn't see the point in sending another.
