ManofTheAtom wrote:Wouldn't work.

Consider that u can find a ton of VALIANT very cheap in back issue bins both on and off line.

If the tps are going to be black and white to keep the cost down people would be more inclined to buy the color back issues which are cheaper.

The new reprints need to be of very high quality so they can compete with DC and Marvel.

They also need to attract the audience by offering material you can't find elsewhere, like interviews with the creators, sketches, script excerpts, etc.

The reprints could be DVD-esque in style, with similar content.
That was in 2005. Eerie how close I came to describing the Harbinger and X-O Manowar hardcovers, isn't it? heh

The part in bold particularly describes the X-O hardcover perfectly, while the italics could refer to the short stories.

Well, just pat yourself on the back and set up your own psychic telephone hotline. Now predict when we’ll see the first new monthly Valiant comic and who will win this year’s NBA finals.

Seriously, nice job!

At least you're not claiming that the Valiant hardcover series was your idea
and as its creator, you should be entitled to a free copy of everything they make.

Dang, wish I had thought of that.

I'll have to settle with winning AICN's contests :P (then, accidentally, disqualify myself,  )

Since my sarcasm appears to have stated something I’m going to go out on the limb...
1. Pistons in 5 vs Lakers
2. First Valiant ads in November for a number of series including next January for X-O, February for Harbinger, and March for Rai
3. Raw Harbinger’s begin to sell for $200.00 because of the movie and Paramount options Doctor Mirage
4. The goat becomes the next penguin with sign accessory

Dude, what do you need the goat for? Leave it behind for the divinationly challenged. Some how I doubt many of my above predictions will come true.

I am making a prediction...

VEI should do some stuff in the future.

Mark my words! May 29, 2008. If VEI does some stuff in the future, I have rightfully predicted it!

Forget this foolish non-sense predict NBA predict monthly titles. Lets predict important things. Is Sex in the City gonna to knock Indiana Jones from the top spot this week?
