Me too. Only two months away, right?

It's gonna be a crazy couple of weeks. San diego, then my sister goes in for a C-section the following weekend, then my buddy's 30th in Vegas the weekend after that.

I've never Jenga-ed, but one of my kids asked me if we can play Heads-up, 7-up. It was a Senior. :o

I'm down for poker on Thursday night.

Someone might want to put a list together. The easiest game that everyone probably knows is Hold'em, but it still only practical to have 12ish players max. I'm not trying to put a limit on players, but there might have to be more than one table. Plus then you can play dealers choice(stud, omaha, etc) if you want to.

Personally, I'd rather play for money. I'd rather part with $20(I mean win $$$), than win or lose comic books. I don't even actively collect comics anymore- just the odd Valiant I come across now and again. Plus, with low enough stakes(say playing .50/$1) you can play all night on $20-$40.

At this point I'm just rambling, but

I'm in! :thumb:

My preference would be a $20 buy in, texas hold 'em tournament. Payouts for first, second, and third place.

Do we get tiny cameras that show the audience what we're holding?

Perfect! That would also work with multiple tables.

So...I confirmed with B-Dawg: I'm in.

#22, please.

Wait, wait, wrong sign in.

Yeah, I'll be there. Thursday-Sunday. Me, Doc and BTE staying in the same room....if they screw with me when I'm sleeping, I have ZERO qualms about peeing in their shampoo.

None.

So don't even try it.

No, I'm not bluffing.

I am glad I will be visiting for the poker game, but also glad I will not be staying there. I like to wash my hair.

It's NOT like Zeph can wash hair on his head at all...I hardly have any (by choice) so I'm covered... :thumb:

If VEI were to make some sort of announcement at SDCC, what would you like it to be?

Offer concrete examples, not just "new ongoing series", but what kind of series would you like to see, and by whom?
:atomic: Comics are like a Rorschach test, everyone has a different opinion on what they are and can be... :atomic:

Eternal Warrior by Peter David
Solar Man of the Atom by Jim Starlin
Magnus by Shooter

And a free Lamborghini for all the hosts of the Only the Valiant podcast. One that runs on happy thoughts and farts.

Four core titles to start with

Harbinger - Written by , Pencilled by
X-O Manowar - Written by , Pencilled by Sean Chen
Rai (featuring Obadiah Konishi) - Written and Pencilled by The Luna Brothers
Eternal Warrior - Written by , Pencilled by

I can't come up with any ideas for writers or more pencillers.
