Diamond Unity TPB

Post by PeteCole333 »

I own three of these, two of the first, one of the second.

They look absolutely mint, and I'd love to have cgc grade them. But, being as they're listed without any cgc copies noted, am I to assume that cgc won't grade them? Other TPB seem to get graded. Are the Unity TPB's just too thick?

And I wonder what the going rate for them is these days. I NEVER see them for auction on Ebay. Any thoughts on what a pair of pristine copies would fetch. Note: I'm not looking to sell them, just curious.

I've never seen one slabbed, but I can't imagine it selling for more than the regular (I know it would, but it already sells for so much). I think on average they sell for a little over $200.... I believe the 2nd one sells for more than the 1st, but I may have that reversed. Good catch either way. :thumb:

Does anyone know for sure what cgc would do if I sent them in? Would they be graded? Returned to me still ungraded? Or would they run with my books leaving me to forever lament the loss of my greatest valiant treasure?

you can call them and check, you should ask this in the CGC forum in here. CBK should know.

They're too thick to be graded by CGC.

They are too big to be graded. If you get good scans it wont matter much....Assuming you are selling.

Diamond Trades are a 2 Volume set with signatures on the inside.

The 4 Volume set was put out by Valiant after Unity.. like a few years after Unity.

Two different Unity TPBs.

The Diamond ones are much more rare. It was a retailer incentive version less than 1,000 of each.
