My guy from NDC came through again. He pulled a signed CEAR still in the Valiant holder with letter and 2 X-O Database VVSS books with certs for $60.
He charged me $50 for the CEAR because a 9.4 went for $100 on ebay recently. I'm telling you, there are zero flaws on the cover of this book. No creases or spine stress marks, truly NM/M.
I don't post much, but this was a fun deal and I thought I'd share.
To top it off, I hit another one of his stores and found a Shadowman #16 glow for $2.75. It was bagged and boarded, but a fine copy at best.
Tremendous week for bulking up the collection.

My best single PURCHASE-I've made some great trades recently and I don't list deals here until they are 100% complete-would have to be the MINT, and I mean MINT, Magnus # 1 that I got for 2 bucks. Yes, it has the card. I may even submit this to CGC. It's that sweet. The kicker is, if I hadn't traded all the Magnus # 1's I keep finding, this would make my 5th copy, all for 10 or less.

The store has about 50 long boxes of unsorted and un-priced comics. The store policy for these boxes are that you can go through them but you'll be charged Overstreet value.Elveen wrote:Even better.jedimarley wrote:Looking at the TPB. It looks like it's never been read or even opened.

I can't beleive you found it. Was it on a shelf? More details.
They gave me that for the Shadowman and Magnus. Cover for the TPB (that was bagged and board) and .50 for the Acclaim Reader.
I was only able to go through 25 of the boxes before the wife came and gave me sh!t.
