Long Overdue Kudos to VF.com Board Members
Moderators: Daniel Jackson, greg
A huge kudo goes out to TheGreatSatan for the CF auction that he JUST did here VERY recently. I am expecting a check made out to 'CFF' any day now in the mail that will get put directly into the research fund up in Tucson.
This is a cool idea... doing fund raising activities through out the year so that I don't have to bum rush folks in a three month period of the fund raiser.
Great job TheGreatSatan, I appreciate it.

(oh, and if anyone can't tell that this post is severely tongue-in-cheek, they need to get their head examined. Maybe twice. I'm guessing the metal plates are inteferring with the signal from the Mother Ship.)ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:People, PEOPLE! The title of this thread is LONG OVERDUE kudos, not "fresh from the oven, piping hot" kudos!! You can't be giving kudos the same day you get the stuff! That's not how it's supposed to go!
You have to let the kudos SIMMER a while, so they can soak up all that sweet kudo juice....mmmm, can you smell that right now...? That's it, let those kudos get nice and juicy, tender and aged...almost forgetting about them, while you do some errands, maybe run to the market, grab some eggs and some butter, maybe pick up the wife's stuff at the cleaners, pick up the kids from school....
And then, when you come home....can you smell that....? MMMMMMMM....nice and juicy kudos, FULL of flavor, overflowing with kudo sauce, ready to burst, they've been stewing for so long....filling the whole HOUSE with kudo-y goodness...then, make the kids wash their hands, feed the dog, set the table, pop open a nice bottle of chardonnay...
THEN you can leave them. Ahhhhhh......kudo satisfaction.....![]()
That's how it works, people! Get it right! Don't MAKE me pull over this car!

I would like to thank TheGreatSatan for running an auction for a slabbed book in which the profits went to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation via a check sent to me whereas the check was made out to the CFF.
Thanks man !!! If we do things like this throughout the year, during fund raising time it will not be so hectic on me AND board members wallets !!!

Big thank you to Elveen for running a very successful board auction of some nice books to benefit the CF fund raiser.
I see more sprouting up and others being talked about... this is really great stuff and I want to thank Elveen for getting the momentum rolling on this. We might actually get to our $15,000 goal (we are currently at $13,000+).
THANKS ELVEEN and THANKS DELLA for a fantastic auction going on right now.

I'd like to thank SonicDan for many great auctions and purchases, and I'd like to thank Dr. Solar for a great trade a while back.
I'd like to thank Turokhunter for a great trade recently too. And, for anyone who frequents the CGC Boards, if you ever see something in one of my threads you want, don't be shy about offering a trade for stuff off my needs list.
