the should have given you money to take that N.I.O....
 Maybe. It's not a good series, but it has low print runs as a whole and while there isn't much demand for it now-probably never will be-I saw a "rare" book cheap and thought why the hell not. Now if only I could come across a GBU or GLOW, then I'd really be in business. The difference there is, those are actually GOOD books.
absatutely...

That's funny....when I was half heartedly trying to get some copies of Armorines, I was "the second high bidder" for a lot of them at the $20 range...for the full set. ;) Never won a single set.

I've bought many at 25 cents....not #4, mind, but the rest. ;)

Wha......?

I'm a cheap bastich, and make no bones about it... :thumb:

But, REGARDLESS, it's a good deal AGAINST THE MARKET. There's a big difference between what *I* think is cheap, and what the MARKET does. And I have as much control over the market as I do the hurricane....

If I were offered a book for $30 I KNEW sold on eBay for an average of $60, I'd be a fool to turn it down. $45, yeah, maybe not. $30, definitely. So yeah, you got a good deal. :thumb:

Just got back from the London comic mart with Drift.

It was a good day for buying and ok for sales.

I managed to get a long box off my friend Chris at the show for £40.00.

This was jammed full of Valiants including X-O 2 to 10. Pre magnus Unity issues except for 1,2,3 & 12. Solar 1 x3 2 x2 and a stack more.

The best part was a huge pile of Nexus to almost finish my set. I need less than ten now

There were 2 Rai # 9 vvss which i know arent the hardest to get but at 20p each you cant go wrong.

Prototype ultra 5000 copy.

Continuity issues i never seen before.

Plus 2 of the last three Elemenals V1. just need #2 now.

There was a nice pile of Unity issues to pass on to Jonathon for his project. Pm later today for that dude.

All in all a good hall methinks.

Ian
