He's got a whole batch of signed books, all with the following description:

I AM NOT AN EXPERT BY *ANY* MEANS AND HAVE LIMITED KNOWLEDGE - SO PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS, I WILL DO MY BEST TO ANSWER THEM. THESE ARE **MINT FROM THE PUBLISHER*** >>GUARANTEDD<< AND SIGNED 1ST EDITIONS WITH COA - UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.
The owner has told me to list all of the unsold comics at $9.99 and let them go where they will - his comics - he’s the boss . At this price - as is where is no refunds GOOD LUCK - and HAVE FUN!
I NO LONGER SHIP TO CANADA - GO AHEAD - ASK ME WHY

Feedback of 96.7% and a location of "On the Road - AS FOUND, United States".
What do you want to bet someone could reasonably argue about his assertion of mint and he would call them unreasonable?
Here's his list of books that will never sell at $9.99.
Why do sh!thole sellers like this get decent stuff to sell? It's a crime, and ridiculous.
God I want to be a US Attorney SO BAD....and PROSECUTE these jerkoffs for the FRAUD they're committing.
SO bad....

She has 15 negs, and a 96.7% rating. Most of her absolute negs may be from 2 people, but her UNIQUE USER negs certainly are not.Smashey wrote:In her defense (a little). I spoke with this woman on the phone when she first started listing comic books. I talked to her for about 30 minutes. She is an older lady, 50's+ I would say by her voice. She lives in Nevada, forgot the name of the town. Shes selling a friends comic book collection. She has absolutely no clue about anything on comics. Shes just selling them for a rich old man. She dug through a box while on the phone reading off what she had. Alot of older stuff, and alot from the 90's. Lots of stuff with coa's from various places with sigs. She came across a turok 1, and was like "wow", because of the cover.THESE ARE FROM A PRIVATE COLLECTION. THEY ARE ALL BAGGED AND BOARDED. Most her negs were from 2 people. One who is no longer a registered user. I think he tried to scam her because she claims he paid with a bad check, then tried to get a refund, then closed his ebay account. She does have 50 positives from this month.
I have 2 x-men comics on the way from her, oldies. Will let ya know how they turn out.
If that user "paid with a bad check"....then why did this seller ship them out in the first place?
As far as the positives go....all I have to say is BAAAAAAAA.....
All of her comic book negatives are from 2 people. cgcruler, who is one of them that left half of her negatives, is no longer a registered user, and also has 5 neutrals this month for non payment of over $3000 for comic books. Given those circumstances, I would say cgcruler has been trying to scam people, and probly succeeded on this lady. Why she would send before a check clearing, no clue.
The other guy, who left the rest of the negatives, admits he stopped payment on the check he sent her, and kept the comic books because he was not happy with the condition. He has the books, and stopped payment on check, I would say this seller was scammed here.
Maybe her grading is off. I expect the 2 books i purchased to be overgraded. Like I said, after speaking with her, she has no clue on comic books.
Dunno. Is it a flat out scam? I dont think so. Lots of satisfied people on her old stuff. Overgraded? Probably. Will see when i get my books. I bought 2 as a test to see if i was going to purchase ALOT to cgc and resell.
As far as her 9.99 listed books not going to sell. Im sure alot of them will sell. Lots of DF coa sigs. Quite a few I would want, like the deadpool #1. But holding off on bidding before i get my books in my hand.

I don't know, to me it doesn't matter how many of her negatives are "comic book negatives". She's got negs from 15 different eBay users in a relatively small number of transactions. Here, you can read them for yourself:Smashey wrote:All of her comic book negatives are from 2 people. cgcruler, who is one of them that left half of her negatives, is no longer a registered user, and also has 5 neutrals this month for non payment of over $3000 for comic books. It truly doesn't matter how many negs are "comic book negs"....if those were negs from sellers, and she was a buyer, I could TOTALLY understand....Brother J wrote:I don't know, to me it doesn't matter how many of her negatives are "comic book negatives". But as a seller, there's NO reason you should be getting more than 1 neg per 100 transactions....and she has more than THREE TIMES that many.
CLEARLY, the woman has severe customer service issues.
And again....I don't believe for a SECOND that she was "sent a bad check." Looks like a lie from a habitual liar to cover her overgrading. What idiot...especially with so much eBay experience....would EVER send merchandise BEFORE the check clears?
cgcruler has exactly ONE unique neg and ONE unique neutral. Who are we supposed to believe...? The buyer with NO negs besides the SELLERS, or the SELLER with FIFTEEN different customers *SQUEE* off ENOUGH to leave a neg on profile with less than 500 unique transactions....?
Comictoysnstuff is even MORE compelling...they have ZERO negs/neutrals.
And listen...ANY time a seller responds with name calling, or insults, then they ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL. PERIOD. You should NEVER, EVER, no matter HOW insulting your CUSTOMERS may be in feedback, EVER be anything but courteous and professional in your response...or YOU look bad....not the buyer!
Sorry, but anybody who says "GUARANTEDD" (poor spelling aside) and "MINT" and then 1. refuses to accept a credit card payment, and 2. refuses to accept returns is doing it FOR A REASON: to get MORE MONEY by LYING about the conditions of the items she has for sale.
And no, I've never done business with her, and I think it sucks canal water that she has books I want.

The more I look, the more sick I get. I have no doubt, from comictoysandstuff's feedback, that every single one of those comics was horrifically overgraded....I RECOGNIZE the situation.
I hope they take this charlatan to court. What a fraud. This woman gained HUNDREDS, if not THOUSANDS of dollars through SOFT FRAUD: OVERGRADING her merchandise.

5 neutrals from ONE seller. ONE unique neg and ONE unique neutral....and 91 unique positives. TWO people out of 92 that he dealt with that gave him non-positive FB.Smashey wrote:All of her comic book negatives are from 2 people. cgcruler, who is one of them that left half of her negatives, is no longer a registered user, and also has 5 neutrals this month for non payment of over $3000 for comic books.
You can make that assertion based on ONE unique neg and ONE unique neutral.......? Do you think cgcruler just "went bad" with buffalo-walker?Given those circumstances, I would say cgcruler has been trying to scam people, and probly succeeded on this lady.
I don't think so.....
Problem with non-payment? Maybe. Probably why he got NARU'd. But certainly no feedback record of that.
According to comictoysandstuff, they sent "1/2 money, and 1/2 check" (whatever that means, although it likely means 1/2 cash, 1/2 check.) If they had sent ALL the money in the form of a check, they would have no need to be "refunded", but they state they haven't GOTTEN a refund. Why she would send before a check clearing, no clue.
The other guy, who left the rest of the negatives, admits he stopped payment on the check he sent her, and kept the comic books because he was not happy with the condition. He has the books, and stopped payment on check, I would say this seller was scammed here.
If he stopped payment on HALF the entire payment, he still would have gotten WILDLY screwed if, in fact, the books were in the conditions he claims they are in, rather than SHE claims they are in.
And LOOK at the language "buffalo-walker" uses in a reply:
"Wantd2KeepComix&$$Back-refusd-Paid$133List$300+Trying2ScamCheckFB4otherComixSAD"
You know what that's a variation of, don't you? The ol' "You got a good deal anyways!" song and dance bullsh!t that overgrading, thieving, fraudulent sellers use to excuse their overgrading. Who gives a SH!T what is "lists for"? What it "lists for" is MEANINGLESS! It's what it SELLS for that counts. And yet, here's this seller, quoting one of the oldest, and stupidest, overgrading seller cliches of all: "You got a good deal anyways!"
That, combined with her stupid "GUARANTEDD" FAKE guarantee, tells me everything I need to know about this "seller."
Look, she even called someone a B!TCH in response to a neg!
Then, my friend, and this has nothing to do with you....everything to do with her....WHAT THE HELL BUSINESS DOES SHE HAVE CALLING SOMETHING NM/M WHEN SHE ADMITS SHE HAS NO CLUE ON COMIC BOOKS??????Maybe her grading is off. I expect the 2 books i purchased to be overgraded. Like I said, after speaking with her, she has no clue on comic books.
THAT'S called FRAUD! "I don't know anything about this, but I'm going to call it "NEAR MINT-MINT" anyways, because I know THAT will put more $$$$ in my pocket!
If she TRULY doesn't know anything on comics, she has NO EFFING BUSINESS putting GRADES on comics...so why is she...?
Answer: SHE'S A CON ARTIST.
She should be saying "I don't know anything about comics, so here are large pictures that show the ENTIRE book...YOU decide what condition it's in."
She didn't do that. That makes her a THIEF and a CON ARTIST.
YES! Saying you "don't know anything about comic books" and then just "deciding" they all must be in "near perfect condition" is A SCAM.Dunno. Is it a flat out scam?
Plain and simple!
It would be like ME saying "I don't know anything about cars, but this car is in PERFECT WORKING CONDITION!!!"
How would I know that? What right would I have.....by ANY measure...to make that claim, without going to someone who WAS an expert on cars FIRST?
None. And if I made that claim with a CAR, you can BET I'd have my arse sued, and booted off eBay.
That's because....as I've stated over and over and over again, so many times before....the vast majority of people who buy comics DON'T CARE if an item is overgraded, and those that DO care, 85% of them WILL NOT COMPLAIN.I dont think so. Lots of satisfied people on her old stuff.
How many negatives would this seller have if buyers with a legitimate complaint actually left them?
And how many negatives would this seller have if those buyers didn't have to worry about retaliatory feedback?
We'll never know, but I can GUARANTEE you, it's more than she has now.
Good luck, seriously, with your books from her.Overgraded?
I'm not holding out much hope, you understand.

I had a seller call me "*SQUEE*" in my feedback before. True, I started it because I called them a "loser" for giving me retaliatory negs. Personally, I think I have to agree with eBay when it comes to removing the ability of sellers to neg a buyer. True, there's going to be some *SQUEE* buyers trying to take advantage, but I'll say this. EVERY one of the negatives I have is from a seller leaving retaliatory negatives. I ALWAYS pay and on time and ALWAYS give the seller a chance to fix it when something is wrong. There is really NO reason I have any negatives on eBay. I do have a neutral from a buyer who didn't bother to e-mail me and let me know there was a problem with an item I sold. Feedback left for them: positive.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:And listen...ANY time a seller responds with name calling, or insults, then they ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL. PERIOD. Here's my negs if anyone wants a chuckle:
http://www.toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?Us ... eceived+by
Ok. I did some research. "he who shall not be named 1" and "he who shall not be named #2" (the 2 people that have left 25 of the 27 negatives in the past year) are the SAME person.
"he who shall not be named #2" is selling the same stuff that he who shall not be named #1" purchased. "he who shall not be named #2" is also selling the same iron man/submariner #1 that he paid $20 for for $139. He has it listed as vf+ (and that it looks nm), and he says that it was a vg- book.
He also stopped payment on the seller, keeping all 19 books.
"he who shall not be named 1's" account was closed, after 8 negatives for sending a bad check.(Which now I know the question of why she accepted a bad check/ It wasnt bad, it had a stopped payment) He also has 5 neutrals for purchasing $3000 worth of comics off another buyer and NOT SENDING payment.
Im not saying that this seller is a great seller. I havnt received anything from her. And Im sure the 2 comics i purchased will be overgaded. But what I am saying is that ONE person, left all 25 negatives. AFTER stopping payment on the check AFTER he received the books. He stole them. Overgraded or not, HE STOLE THEM.
Sounds like a scammer got duped by an overgrader.
Also, "he who shall not be named #2" only offers store merchandise credit if returned within 3 days. And one of his complaints was that the seller did not accept paypal. Guess what, neither does he. He says if its under $50 he will take paypal, but if its over he will only accept a money order.
"he who shall not be named #1 and #2" are not some poor victims here. He himself is a scammer, and mad that the books he stole arent nm-mt.
So you tell me who to trust? A person who POSSIBLY (overgraded). Or a person working a seller with 2 accounts, getting the books, stopping the payment, keeping the books, leaving feedback that the books are VG-.Then turns around and sells the book he left a negative on saying it was VG-, lists it as VF+, and lists it for $119 more than he paid for it?
Myself, I dont trust either of them. BUT, if I had to, i would go with the person who possibly overgraded, over the person who is an obvious scammer and theif.

While the circumstantial evidence is certainly in existence, what's your proof? If one account is suspended, EVERY account associated with that account is suspended. So...logic says that buffalo-walker would have reported comictoysandstuff as being the same person when cgcruler was NARU'd.Smashey wrote:Ok. I did some research. cgcruler and comicstoys (the 2 people that have left 25 of the 27 negatives in the past year) are the SAME person.
Huh...? The same stuff that cgcruler purchased from buffalo-walker?comicstoys is selling the same stuff that cgcruler purchased. comicstoys is also selling the same iron man/submariner #1 that he paid $20 for for $139. He has it listed as vf+ (and that it looks nm), and he says that it was a vg- book.
Because comictoysandstuff purchased a DIFFERENT IM/SUB #1 than the one that comictoysandstuff is selling. In fact, BOTH books are listed for "sale":
160212145343
and
160214423962
cgcruler DID NOT purchase an IM/SUB #1 from buffalo-walker, according to the FB that buffalo-walker left. In fact, cgcruler bought ONE DD #33 and 7 "NM-M" X-Men books, from #75-112.
Where's the IM/SUB #1?
Again, according to the feedback he left, the check was NOT for the entire amount. If it was, it wouldn't make sense that he was so adamant about getting a refund. He also stopped payment on the seller, keeping all 19 books.
YOU don't know that! Neither do I. We don't know WHY cgcruler's account was NARU'd, because eBay WON'T TELL anybody why.cgcrulers account was closed, after 8 negatives for sending a bad check.
For the record, I have NEVER had, or seen, an account closed because of a report of a "bad check." eBay closes accounts for NPBs, and that's about it. It takes damn near an act of God to NARU someone for actual fraud.
For God's sake, I FILED A POLICE REPORT against the seller who defrauded me and two others for $3000+....THEY are still registered.
Again...whether payment was STOPPED, or it was NSF, it doesn't matter. The fact is, sellers SHOULD NOT send ANYTHING until payment is CLEARED. STOP payment works the same as NSF. Buffalo-walker would have gotten the check back from her bank REGARDLESS.(Which now I know the question of why she accepted a bad check/ It wasnt bad, it had a stopped payment)
Already established. He also has 5 neutrals for purchasing $3000 worth of comics off another buyer and NOT SENDING payment.
Again...please prove this.Im not saying that this buffalo walker is a great seller. I havnt received anything from her. And Im sure the 2 comics i purchased will be overgaded. But what I am saying is that ONE person, left all 25 negatives.
False. Stopping payment on a check when merchandise is not described IS NOT THEFT. The law certainly doesn't see it that way, and neither should anyone else. Stopping payment on a check is a small level or buyer protection.AFTER stopping payment on the check AFTER he received the books. He stole them. Overgraded or not, HE STOLE THEM.
And AGAIN....according to the feedback left, that check was NOT the ENTIRE payment.
See, sorry Smash, your conclusions don't square up.Sounds like a scammer got duped by an overgrader.
1. What's the PROOF that cgcruler and comictoysandstuff are the same person? I DON'T CARE EITHER WAY, but what's the PROOF of that?
2. The buyer did not send the entire payment by check.
3. The buyer would NOT be SO adamant about a REFUND if he had.
4. The buyer would NOT be so quick to leave negative feedback if he got everything for FREE. That doesn't make SENSE. If he DID, a NORMAL situation (and we have no reason to believe this isn't a normal situation) would dictate that the buyer now has LEVERAGE over the seller, and doesn't NEED to leave negative feedback. The ONLY reason the buyer would leave negative feedback is if he felt ROBBED in some ACTUAL way, which the FB supports.
5. Why would the buyer go to the trouble..and EBAY VIOLATION...of LISTING one of the "crap books" he got, and CALLING the seller out on eBay...if he had gotten everything "for free"...? These are the actions of an ANGRY buyer who feels he has been CHEATED....not a con artist.
6. If the buyer was a con artist/scammer, he CERTAINLY wouldn't call SO MUCH ATTENTION to all of this.
It just doesn't add up, Smash.
That won't stand up if challenged, but LOOK at what he's selling: CGC books. Also, comicstoys only offers store merchandise credit if returned within 3 days. And one of his complaints was that buffalo walker did not accept paypal. Guess what, neither does he.
This is a violation of eBay policy, and will be fixed when eBay finds out. A seller cannot accept Paypal for certain amounts, but not others. He says if its under $50 he will take paypal, but if its over he will only accept a money order.
You're arriving at conclusions that aren't supported by proof, man. Sorry.comicstoys/cgcruler is not some poor victim here. He himself is a scammer, and mad that the books he stole arent nm-mt.
You cannot prove he's a scammer, and you really need to be careful....if comictoysandstuff discovers this, without proof, he can SUE YOU for LIBEL.
And no, I'm not kidding. You're calling someone a scammer without proof. I'm not saying he's NOT a scammer...quite the contrary....and I'm certainly neither people

And again...stopping payment on a check IS NOT theft. KEEPING the books without trying to resolve the situation would be.
It's beyond clear that the seller overgraded.

You're going to have to prove these accusations. Please show where these two accounts are the same person. Please show where comictoysandstuff bought an IM/SUB #1 for $20, called it a VG-, then listed THE SAME EXACT COPY.
Dude.Myself, I dont trust either of them. BUT, if I had to, i would go with the person who possibly overgraded, over the person who is an obvious scammer and theif.
You can get yourself in INCREDIBLY SERIOUS trouble throwing around accusations like this without proof.
Where's the proof?
Here is the iron man/sub mariner #1 he purchased from the seller (sorry, i was wrong on the price, but, here it is)
here is the book he HAD for sale, sorry, its not up there anymore. He had 2 offers and now its gone.
here is the feedback he provided for the seller on the book.
COMIC WAS VG AT BEST!! CREASING, STAINS! 1 of 19 OVERGRADED BOOKS! BUYERS BEWARE
Yet it was good enough for him to list as VF+ and sell with a BIN for more than he paid for this "crap" book. (which he also got half his money back on by stopping payment.)
Here is the page of his feedback that shows 8 negatives for stopping payment on said books. And also show 5 neutrals from the same month from a completely different seller for purchasing $3000 of books and never paying for them.
I never said ebay closed this account. But after 13 feedbacks of shady dealings, probably chose not to use this account anymore.
Here is one book that was bought with one account. The other guy just happens to have the same book for sale, for double what he paid.
Here is another book that he purchased, and the other guy just happens to have for sale.
Here is another one he bought and is selling off the other acct
I can list more, dont feel i need to to get the point across. Think they are the same person? Or just happen to have Identical collections?
Again. Im not saying she was a good seller. Im saying there is more to the story than we have seen. With looking into the 2 accounts that left all the negatives (both accounts stopping payment), there is shadyness. I have not seen any proof that he actually got damaged goods. Just him saying it. And her saying no. But, there are alot of red flags pointing at him.
Names removed to protect the potentially innocent, and links to the more than likely innocent buyers.

Agreed 100%. This is EXACTLY what I do, and have always done, and will continue to always do.Brother J wrote:I had a seller call me "*SQUEE*" in my feedback before. PERIOD. You should NEVER, EVER, no matter HOW insulting your CUSTOMERS may be in feedback, EVER be anything but courteous and professional in your response...or YOU look bad....not the buyer!
Here's my negs if anyone wants a chuckle:
http://www.toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?Us ... eceived+by
I have DOZENS...50-60-70....negs in retaliation from sellers, because they either tried to shaft me for "S&H" (the $5 per comic was my favorite!) or they overgraded and copped an attitude.
I have I think 2 negs from sellers who legitimately left them because I didn't pay for whatever reason, probably because I was being a dildo. In 10 years.

Smashey....dude....THESE ARE DIFFERENT BOOKS.Smashey wrote:Here is the iron man/sub mariner #1 he purchased from the seller (sorry, i was wrong on the price, but, here it is)
Iron Man Sub Mariner #1
here is the book he HAD for sale, sorry, its not up there anymore. He had 2 offers and now its gone.
Iron Man Sub Mariner #1
here is the feedback he provided for the seller on the book.
I don't know how I can explain this to you any more clearly: THEY ARE DIFFERENT BOOKS.
Look at the COLOR BREAKING CREASES in the bottom right corner of the "buffalo-walker" book. They aren't there on the "VF+" book.
Look at the BOTTOM STAPLE in the "buffalo-walker" book, by Subby's LEFT FOOT...it's off-center, and firmly on the FRONT cover. It's perfectly on the fold of the "VF+" book.
Look at Iron Man's LEFT ELBOW on the VF+ copy. Now go directly right, 0 degrees, to the RIGHT EDGE. See that little piece of rock? It's NOT THERE on the "buffalo-walker" book, and on that book, the rock right BELOW it TOUCHES the right edge: on the "VF+" book, the "right edge touching rock" doesn't even come close. Unless comictoysandstuff magically GREW the cover wider, IT'S NOT THE SAME BOOK.
Then, look at the book I listed above, which the buyer listed as the "Garbage" auction (which, of course, is entirely against eBay rules), and compare them again.
You MUST, MUST, MUST look for EDGE diagnostics, as well as WEAR diagnostics when comparing TWO PICTURES of "the same issue" book to determine if they are the SAME COPY. In this case, they are QUITE CLEARLY TWO DIFFERENT COPIES.
It's NOT THE SAME BOOK.
So all of this "well, he said the book was VG and he's trying to sell it as VF+" is entirely spurious because IT'S NOT THE SAME BOOK.
Oy.
So, you're saying that it's not possible that TWO buyers could have stopped payment on a check? Here is the page of his feedback that shows 8 negatives for stopping payment on said books.
That's circumstantial evidence. Is it LIKELY? No, of course not, I'll grant you that! But is it POSSIBLE? YES. And you haven't PROVEN that these two buyers are THE SAME PERSON.
I am INCLINED to AGREE with you that they ARE the same person....but you MUST MUST MUST PROVE it before letting accusations fly.
Again...it is eBay policy that if ONE account is NARU'd, ALL accounts are NARU'd.
So let me explain something here, which is why I assumed that you said EBAY closed the account: it's not possible for a user to "close" his/her own account under these circumstances. Why? Because eBay imposes a 180 "waiting period" before an account can be closed:And also show 5 neutrals from the same month from a completely different seller for purchasing $3000 of books and never paying for them.
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d ... llFeedback
I never said ebay closed this account.
"Waiting period – If you've listed or bid on an item recently, eBay imposes a waiting period of up to 180 days before closing your account. The waiting period helps ensure that any transactions are complete. During the waiting period, you won't be able to bid, make purchases, list items, or change your contact information - but you'll still have access to your account information. "
http://pages.ebay.com/help/account/ques ... count.html
If a person wants to "close" an account, THEY MAY, but it's with the VERY STRICT warning that ALL associated accounts will ALSO become unregistered.
That is eBay's VERY, VERY strict policy. I know this from VERY personal experience.
Therefore, it is IMPOSSIBLE that anyone BUT eBay NARU'd (the eBay term for "removed all access and unregistered the account") cgcruler.
That clear that up?
Again, not possible. But after 13 feedbacks of shady dealings, probably chose not to use this account anymore.
eBay NARU'd cgcruler, per eBay policy.
THESE TWO BOOKS ARE NOT....REPEAT NOT....THE SAME BOOK.
Are you SERIOUSLY going to make me go through diagnostics for ALL these books?
Holy cow, dude....did you even LOOK at these two books? Here is another book that he purchased, and the other guy just happens to have for sale.
Richie Rich #1
Richie Rich #1
THEY ARE *****NOT****** THE SAME BOOKS!
There's no picture, so a diagnostic analysis (and serial number matching) is impossible.
Regardless, there are FIFTEEN 7.0 copies on the census. POSSIBLE that it's the same book? Of course. LIKELY it's the same book? YES! I agree, it LIKELY IS the same book!
PROOF that it's the same book?
Nope.
Where is that "banging your head against the wall" smiley...? OY.I can list more, dont feel i need to to get the point across.
One more time: of the THREE examples you gave, ONE is entirely inconclusive, and THE TWO are CONCLUSIVELY DIFFERENT...BOOKS.Think they are the same person? Or just happen to have Identical collections?
Therefore....if they are DIFFERENT BOOKS....how can they be "identical"....?
"Oh", one may say "that's easy! He's selling his LOWER condition copies, since he bought REPLACEMENT copies." Wrong again. Look at the Richie Rich. The one SOLD by ctas is a HIGHER grade (AND CGC GRADED, to boot!)
YES, you can make that claim for the Kull...but certainly not the Richie Rich....nor the Atom.
Of COURSE there is! There ALWAYS IS....but, while I have provided example after example of CLEARCUT, CONCLUSIVE evidence, you have provided...different copies that you called the same, while stating UNEQUIVOCALLY that someone was a scammer and a thief!Again. Im not saying she was a good seller. Im saying there is more to the story than we have seen.

She has other negs, for similar issues. With looking into the 2 accounts that left all the negatives (both accounts stopping payment), there is shadyness. I have not seen any proof that he actually got damaged goods. Just him saying it.
I have to laugh at that...not at you, at that sentiment....in the past month, since I fell off the wagon, I have purchased about 160 different comic "auctions" (onesies, twosies, tensies, twentysies.)And her saying no.
Of those 160, fully 1/3 of the are overgraded....substantially so...books that no one here would say "oh, Zeph, you're wrong, THOSE aren't overgraded, no way!"...by people who are supposed to know better. THIS IS AN EVERY DAY, ALL DAY OCCURENCE. Even from people who are supposed to know better, even from people who "didn't mean to overgrade", etc etc etc.
So, you'll forgive me if I err on the side of the buyer.
Such as...?But, there are alot of red flags pointing at him.
Since I've obliterated all your previous examples as erroneous...and I hate to do that, Smash, cause you're a nice guy, and I like you, but you've made some very serious accusations with absolutely no PROOF to back it up....what else do you have?
Good move. Always.Names removed to protect the potentially innocent

Well...aside from her overtly hostile and defensive tone...and I wish NO ONE would buy from sellers like that, but people always do.....I'm glad she's finally pulled her head out re: grading.Smashey wrote:She listed more comics tonight. No grade listed.

By the way....there is...LEGALLY...no such thing as an "as is" sale where the buyer CANNOT physically inspect the merchandise BEFORE buying. When the buyer cannot physically inspect the merchandise, but must rely on the description of the seller, the buyer ALWAYS retains the right to challenge.
So yes, every single seller who states "as is" is in opposition to federal and state law.

Eh, I concur. I looked closer at the richie rich and the iron man. Definately not the same books. I was going off title alone. There are some splits on richie, not on the other. And the bottom staple on the iron man are different.
But hey...it was fun, and post counts flew....
Anyway, I will let you guys know how my 2 books arrive.

Sorry to be so harsh, man, but I felt that I had to nip that in the bud, and nothing nips it faster than a large hammer.Smashey wrote:Eh, I concur. Seriously....I hope your books are great.

Not harsh at all ZWH. I am an adult. It was conversation to me. I dont get offended on stuff like some people do unless someone personally attacks me with names or insults. There is a difference between conversation and personal stuff which some people dont realize.Sorry to be so harsh, man, but I felt that I had to nip that in the bud, and nothing nips it faster than a large hammer. I appreciate you and your posts, Smash, so please don't take any of that personally...it's totally not.
You dont get a mad smashey unless you say i *SQUEE* my mother or something lol.
I really doubt it. I doubted it even before i bid or the negatives flowed in. My reasoning is, maybe the book she called nm/m might come to me a 9.2 or 9.4, and i can make a few bucks sending it off to cgc and resell. And if it worked, order more.Seriously....I hope your books are great.
The buyer posted a full scan now of the iron man/sub mariner. Its horrible. So will see what happens.
