Ok, I've had some time to cool down.

Here's the truth.

I lied about knowing the answer for five years. The truth is that I didn't see it until Greg brought up the BTTF sample and realized that Elya's info came from a pre Unity timeline that was altered by the Geomancers when they put the timeline back together after Unity broke it.

I tried to behave like an *SQUEE* like jedi, Chiclo, greg, and the others, but I can't do it.

I'm sorry for lying.

All I'm doing is expressing a different opinion. Does that mean I act like an *SQUEE*?

Really - this is true? You have evidence? Or you are spouting off your opinion and passing it as fact - again? You accuse others of this, yet are as guilty as anyone of doing so on so many subjects. Sorry to reignite things, but this comment *SQUEE* me off.

I don't own one slabbed book. Were I to sell my collection (not bloody likely) it would be for less than I have paid for it, of that I have no doubt. I am still adding to it to try and complete all my regular books and pick up variants as and when I can. Why? Because there are some very cool books that came from VALIANT.

I have to agree. I don't know if I am included in the "and the others", but if simply expressing a different opinion makes you a *SQUEE*, then forget it. I never lied or deliberately mislead, I never told everyone else they were wrong in their opinion, I never continually TOLD other people what they think.

Glad you called him on that comment. Considering VALIANT is a dead universe, I'd say even those of us who make money off selling VALIANT comics must have some love for the content of the books or we'd probably focus on selling something else, something more profitable.

I'll admit it, I am invested in Valiant.
I've been investing since 1997, or, if you want to consider my first purchases, 1992.

So, here it is 16 years later... and I still don't sell my books.
I guess my "get rich quick scheme" has got to be one of the worst
in history, because it's 16 years later and I'm still not profiting.

What am I in this for? It must be the stories.
Or the characters. Or the possibility that the good stuff will return.
Or the fact that Valiant is "my universe" (not old Marvel, or older D.C.).
Or maybe it's because I just love writing website code.
Or maybe I just love handling personality conflicts between board members.
But, I'm pretty sure that if I was just in it for the money,
I probably should have made a few dollars by now.
