Sigma 6 - Gi-Joe

Torque
When I was age 7 back in the early 80's I discovered Gi-Joe's while at a local Toy Store with my parents. Gi-Joe's were my first exposure to action figures, and they had a strong hold on my early child-hood, so much so that I've still actually kept a hold of all my Gi-Joe action figures and vehicles from that time.
Recently while doing some Christmas Shopping for my young niece and nephew I came across Gi-Joe's again. I was immediately mesmerized by the new "Gi-Joe Sigma 6" about 8inch action figures. These Sigma 6 figures were that same characters that I loved in the early 80's but due to their larger size had a lot more details and movement.
I find myself wanting to collect these new Sigma 6 Joe's.
Does anyone collect Sigma 6 Joe's, and does anyone know what type of collectors market is out there for Sigma 6 Joe's? What kind of market is out there from my Joe's from the early 80's?
Anybody have any recommendations if I want to start collecting the Sigma 6 Series?

the retro stuff looked kewl to me too...Jay Tomio wrote:Have you seen the new 25th anniversary G.I.JOE line?
I'm sticking to the Vintage stuff myself (and I rather abhor Sigma Six) but the 25th line might be worth a look! great quality figures - just need to concentrate on my vintages or I'd be buying the whole line

I'm getting my nephew some GI Joe's for Christmas, and found the 25th anniversary stuff.
Last time I was down visiting my family, I broke out all my old GI Joe stuff to show my nephew. He totally loved it, so I wanted to get him his own.
The 25th anniversary versions are pretty sweet, classic characters, and a lot more articulate than the vintage 3-3/4 Joes. I bought a couple, and thought they looked so cool I opened one up to play with it myself. I went on the bay and bought a few more to give to him.
