Valiant Villain min-series

I like the idea of a Valiant Villain min-series eventually making it to the line-up when VEI is way on their feet to success.
I think the Spider Aliens would make a good min-series. The series would be written from the stand point of the Spider Aliens, maybe portraying one or all the Spider Aliens as a sympathetic character. They could follow also maybe the creator of the first X-0 Class Armor, and how the creator raised and took care of the X-O class Armor that Aric eventually took, and how the creator was heart broken, or what-ever Spiders do when they're sad. It could also show their spiritual side with the worship of Trees.

Another possible good villain min-series would be the Intelligent Dinosaurs that were in Turok. The Dinosaurs would be seen as trying to live their life as Dinosaurs do (Eat Meat - usually humans), but they're being hunted all around the modern world without any let-up. Showing them raising their children to be good little Dinosaurs.

I think these types of Story-Lines could work as min-series. Focusing on the less flashy villains as opposed to someone like Master Darque, and such :D

Acclaim took this approach with Master Darque and Deadside.

Yeah I know about Acclaim's attempt, that's why I stressed the less flashy Characters.

the "such" would be deadside.

My idea would be less flashy, like Ax or Thumper. Maybe going into Thumpers background on how she might have been the First Harbinger that Harada Popped, and her being whit the Harbinger Foundation from the beginning.

See what I mean. :D

I'm just not sure there would be enough interest to pull it off.

It would be cool to get a backstory on Rock, Screen, Spike, or some other Eggbreaker.

Villain mini-series

Take the idea one step back.

Instead of the mini-series focusing on an Eggbreaker (which would probably have littl eor no chance of sales success), what about a (to use MOTA's DC-lite construct) World of Harbinger mini-series.

Four issues, each issue focusing on origin/initial interaction with the Harbinger Foundation, backstory, anything to make the characters seem like more than one-dimensional Foundation thugs.

John Byrne did this with his World of Krypton, World of Smallville and World of Metropolis mini-series when he revamped Superman. And it added backstory to quite a few supporting characters

Those minis ruled.

Superman was great back then, not the pile of *SQUEE* he's become.
