Harbinger 1
I've been a Valiant fan since 1992.
15 years, roughly.
I have never owned 1 copy of Harbinger #1.
I think the time is now.
I'm looking for a 9.0-9.2, so please PM me with prices, shipping... etc., and I will get back with you.
Much thanks,
Paul

I know. I've had the trade all these years, and when Valiants were hot, I couldn't even attempt to buy one--not while in college. I have a friend back in Indiana that I talk to once in a while, and have been attempting to buy many books off of him.betterthanezra wrote:I'll say it's about time you own one....![]()

I can't see why I shouldn't put it in my Ebay store For $55-$60. I think it may sell. You're gonna see my whole list on ebay if it keeps up...whovianone wrote:Hey, if mine doesn't pass the screening, and OJ doesn't want it, I may take you up on that one, bro!ckb wrote:You may as well buy my 9.4 for $45.

I notice there are alot for sale again which is cool and of course starting prices will start to rise and it reminds me of a live auction i attended in '92 at a comic show in london. There were probably only two copies of harby 1 there for around £40 as i recall but the copy in the auction sold for £90. my two friends and i sniggered as we coould see the guys stall from our seats upstairs with it for sale at £40. madness i hope that doesnt repeat itself. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

I dont get the whole cgc thing on modern books.
Old books sure as its much harder to determine those .2 etc but modern books should be so much easier to grade.
Would you not be better off spending less than half that amount on unslabbed ones which you can see with your own eyes whether they are gorgeous or not. You might well end up with 5 9.8's for a fraction of the cost
