MOst definitely Crossgen were outstanding. I think the second and third tier release were the ones that stood out most. Negation for me was just amazing and i was truly gutted that negation war didnt get finished. Im still selling sets of negation now. Way of the Rat was fun too. Most of the story arcs for all crossgen were finished and they seemed to be heading towards a great universe tidying event in negation war. maybe had they got past those last two months and finished what they set out to do with negatio war things might have been different or maybe someone could have bailed them out but now the licenses are gone and i cant see them coming back unless anyone else knows different.

Crossgen was really hot when I got back into comics in college (~2000), I never really gave them a chance, but what I heard about it reminded me of a lot of the things I liked about Valiant - Good storytelling in a cohesive universe.

Maybe I'll drop into the DU section and find out a bit about Crossgen.

I am mostly committed to getting the Defiant books, but haven't put a lot of effort into getting these yet.
