That was always one of the tough ones in my opinion, there are other books that I am more surprised about...

Looks like you did pretty good overall, Bro J. That X-O Database for $50 is rather shocking though, never thought I'd see one go for that much.

I'd say it looks like a good Christmas for the Bro J family.

Wow, those VVSS books went for great prices. I nearly choked when i saw the EW #27 price with five days to go. Some of the other prices were insane too. I really wanted the Psi Lords #1 vvss but thought better of it as my boys might not get their Rory Racing car set from Santa :(
Last year over here in the Uk i started to amass whatever i could get sensing a new surge in interest for Valiant premium books. Recent purchases XO database vvss £1.00 yes £1.00 :)
Rai #21 vvss X3 in someones 50p box. They were unbagged witht their certificates tucked inside. The 50p boxes in question were getting a good look through but somehow no one else either knew what they were, gave a damn or thankfully thumbed them. My favourite buy by far.

I am in Cambridge and their is nothing here!
My biggest haul was from second hand book shops in notting hill.

Going to Paris again :( , so hopefully can check out some comic shops. Whilst their. Biggest find in Paris was Phantom issue 1 for $10 euro (French version).

Sorry should have made it clearer. These were picked up at comic marts. I don't really know of many comic shops that still sell back issues. Its all merchandise over here now right. That way no one has to have communication skills which is really handy as i find most don't

EW #27 usually goes for that or more on the rare occasion that they pop up.
