Here's some pics I took in NYC:

Image

John (svair) with Joe Albelo (VALIANT letterer) and Chris' (k_c_collectibles) back. Note all the Harbinger hardcovers on the table, there to be signed by various creators. They were HEAVY! :o

Kevin and Carol Van Hook made this a great pic for me by looking at the camera when I snuck in this shot. Thanks guys! :D

I believe the gentleman to the left of them is Jorge Gonzalez and to the left of him is a gentleman whose name has slipped my mind, but I know he brought some great art with him which the other board members pillaged through.

boy, I'm going to get myself in trouble for posting this one, but I will TRY to ID everyone in this pic:

Left to right: Rufusharley, svair, mrwoogieman and his son (a great kid, he even helped me carry a box of the Harbinger hardcovers!), BTE in background wearing the ski cap with wrunow stading directly next to him. I also see fury and his sister in the pic, k_c_collectibles in the tan VALIANT shirt and Ryan McLelland in the back wearing the green jacket and white ski cap. The rest I have no idea!

Some random Jedi I came up with in the elevator. I thought they looked decent, much better than some of the other sloppy looking Jedi I saw. I also had a brief discussion with a guy wearing a pretty good Darth Maul costume.

not VALIANT related, but a gentleman I was glad to meet, Kim Deitch, an underground comix legend and a nice guy to boot. I was happy to have the opportunity to talk to him for a good while. The underground guys didn't get a whole lot of attention at the show, but they probably liked it that way!

...and I'm spent, I'm sure some of the other guys have a lot more shots than I took, but I thought I would share. :thumb:

A question and a comment.

Question - How good was the reefer that Chuck had on him.

Comment - Not fat, just meeting the guidelines to join the board. Just like the rest of us.

Chuck probably had some peyote on him, but the SOB didn't offer me any, even after I told him I buy a lot of stuff from his company.

As for the latter part, I'd say I more than meet those guidelines!

You're a brave man, going near Chuck while wearing green. He might get confused and try to smoke you. :o

Chuck reminds me of Bob from Twin Peaks. Especially with that smile.
