0 through 6 would make sense to me since that's a complete story.
Inquired about, but unrevealed...

PS, I've always pronounced Dacia the Swedish way. Was a bit of a surprise to hear the English pronunciation.

ManofTheAtom:
Did you try ordering online? I'm in Mexico and I got two copies of the HC from Mailordercomics.com, who ordered them from VEI after I told them about their new service.
ckb:
Amazon.com? eBay? How can you say you couldn't get the hardcover? Clearly you know how to use the computer. I have one listed on eBay right now. I've sent a couple to Canada.
I've tried these sites and after shipping and handling costs and also like Amazon.com who didn't offer a discount price, it wasn't worth it. I tried Milehighcomics.com as well, even ebay.com. I don't care if the canadian dollar is good right now, after all costs are put into the total price, its not worth it to me. To me it has to not exceed the books canadian cover price and to me a fair price for something where I have 5 of the harbinger issues in some form. I'm not one of those readers that buys things just cause I have to get it. Until a good price or what I find as fair value comes along, I don't think I'll be getting it. Valiant Retailer Direct was just so useless. They won't deal to Canada.
Nice to see this card photo about the X-O book.

Your explanation is a lot different from saying you couldn't get the book. You could get the book, you just chose not to pay for it. That's fine.

I certainly would send you one for the Canadian cover price postage paid. What is that, anyway??

I did but kept getting cut off. Orb must have me blocked. Guess my resume was not spicy enough for 'em. When I typed 'Experienced in hunting down and killing aliens.' I meant illegal aliens, guess they were after something else.

Were the business cards one per person, or did you guys grab a bunch of extras to send to board members?

And none on ebay yet. LOL

DK2 wrote:This maybe good news to live with but it means nothing for me. Couldn't even get the Harbinger HC so the chances that I'll be able to get the X-O HC is very much the same thing. What we really need to hear is whether the legal crap has been resolved and if Diamond will be distributing the book to comics stores. VRT meant nothing for me in Canada.
Also clearly for now VEI is releasing only the Valiant original created properties and not the Magnus, Solar & Turok stuff for now.
I ordered mine from Amazon.com when they had the great price so I ordered 2. If the Canadian Dollar remains above the American until pre-orders come along, it'll be even cheaper.

yeah, big difference between not being able to get it and being unwilling to pay to get it.

If you already have the books and don't feel a need for the new bit of story or the HC itself then that is different. If you are complaining about there being no distribution set up for Canada there are more constructive ways to get that to change than *SQUEE* and moaning on a message board.

I personally only took one, but there was a boxful of these, so they should be easily obtained.

Very good news. Gonna have to call that # later today. Chen doing the cover, eh? Wonder if he will do the art, too. Someone mentioned Hall? On that issue, I must ask-who did the cover for the Harby HC?

You know, that's a good question. I looked at the cover, and I wasn't completely sure. Looking at the credits, it's by Bob Hall, but it looks VERY different than what I'm used to seeing with Bob's pencils. I'd love to see what the original pencils for this cover looked like.
