Re-Reading Psi-Lords #8
Thoughts?
Re: Re-Reading Psi-Lords #8
Obviously Valiant themselves realized by now that this is a cartoon, as seen by the art. The story is going through the motions. In many ways more a story about the Destroyer and the world of the future than about the Psi-lords. Maybe they tried to turn it into a a general future-book as an attempt to save the series. Didn't work.

I think the Destroyer issues are the best in the series. Not because they're good, but because everything else sucks. People have mentioned that Valiant didn't have enough bad guys. The ball was dropped here. Ravenrok, Destroyer, and the Infection aliens all could've been big threats in the future half of Valiant. They just weren't made out that way.
I give this ish a 3/5 by the way

He didn't fit in at first, but he was driven away, particularly by the Psi-Lords, and ended up finding a home with other outcasts.
He certainly did not come flying in with evil intentions. He was a man out of time and a soldier too long at war.
True, but Valiant tried to make him some kind of anti-hero, and I thought that was a problem with the character. He would've been better as a Harada type villain who had good intentions, but did evil things.
