Yeah, he's a parody of Cerebus (hence the way he talks and the name S'ym) :P Marvel did start using him as a "real" villian tho. He originally hung out in Limbo with Belasco. :oops:

It was Chris Claremont's "revenge" on Dave Sim for using a Wolverine parody (Wolveroach) and putting him on the cover of Cerebus for three consecutive issues. Marvel's legal department sent Sim a "cease and desist" letter, but Sim quickly cleared it up with Shooter, editor-in-chief of Marvel at the time.

Yeah, I think the Solar's trash-bound, I was going for a GA look on the Batman, the Joker is a nasty bastich and fun to draw but the Magnus may be one of the only things I've ever been really happy with once it's done.
