There are some really strong books under the Image umbrella now, that don't come from the founding studios. Invincible and walking Dead (although I haven't read the latter, reviews are good and sales are increasing), as well as the sporadic Wildguard books (great fun) and one of my faves, Jack Staff. The latter is idiosyncratic, very British and seems to channel a lot of 50's and 60's British superheroes as well as 70's Marvel - I love it. Highly recommended.MProyas wrote:Does Image still exist?
VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

If this is a serious question, you are missing out on several of the best comics being put out right now and over the last several years. Invincible and TWD are easily my favorite 2 books.MProyas wrote:Does Image still exist?
Also, Noble Causes (see av) is excellent and Dynamo 5 is off to a strong start.
If I only had the option of collecting from one comic company today, it would be Image instead of the big 2 (maybe even the new valiant).
Seems like every time the name Image is mentioned, someone makes this type of comment. I can't believe that people still think of Youngblood when they think of Image. I used to until I found out that they are putting out the best books out there right now.
Here is what I like about Image.... They've been putting out some quality books for several years now. Valiant was only able to do that for maybe 2 years.

youngblood and rob liefeld are returning to image and are about to be released. youngblood will be written by one of my favorites, joe casey, while liefeld will do just covers, so i'll try out the first issue when it becomes available.
as for image itself, i only find invincible to be good. its like spiderman back when it was a fresh idea.
