I've got a few of those issues of Epic Magazine. However, I only have them because of the color Cerebus stories inside.Tim Petty wrote:No.
But on a side note...I wish that John Byrne had been allowed to finish "The Last Galactus Story". I read the script and I think it's the most brilliant thing he ever wrote.

There is the mini-DU - Shadowline (3 titles of 8 issues and the follow up 7? issue series).Lightning Strike wrote:Should the "Epic" line be considered a DU? What's your thoughts on this?

man, Epic was awesome.
Cerebus in color...The Last American....Moebius...
I was re-reading Ted Mckeever's "Metropol" just the other day and I was amazed that any company would have believed in an artist's vision so much as to invest the time and resources to publish their work in a way that does it justice. Those books were put together and printed so well. Even more so with "Plastic Forks" also by McKeever.
Just printing stuff that outside the mainstream in the first place was a gamble on Marvel's part. I think the Epic line will someday be looked at as one of Marvel's finest endeavors.
