The 4 ashcans that were available have sold on Ebay as of last night and the seller has ALL READY put another 4 of them up.....

http://cgi.ebay.com/Valiant-Ashcan-San- ... dZViewItem

makes me wonder if they really picked these up up in SDCC or they have something to do with VIP....thats 8 copies they now have or will have had in there hands :hm:

Well then again Lovitz could have put his carrier hat on and delivered these to them....

Actually he might have MOTA look at the shipping on the item $13.99 for THIS?

I'm sure because I've held and bought this it's not going to cost $13.99 unless Lovitz deliveres it to your house personaly...

Since I really can't see the difference between selling them at a con to selling them on Ebay they can do anything RIGHT now with them...

at least thats my impression.

Out of the four that sold, two of them went to a eBay handle I know to be a VALIANT collector, while the other two went to eBayers I'm not familiar with. Not really making a point, was just curious who was going to buy these things.

Gotta admit I'm tempted. Anything that has affected the real Valiant would fit in my collection. I'm just too disgusted right now to want to see that thing in real life, but apart from that, I could consider it. Of course, if my money would go to vip, I wuld never consider buying it.

To be honest, I'm not criticizing the person who did buy it. If I had a little more free cash right now and the price was more reasonable, I would probably buy one. Since I honestly don't think VIP will ever be publishing anything, I think it will be an interesting (if depressing) footnote in the history of VALIANT. The downside of course is putting money into VIP's pockets.

The seller has a 98.4% feedback rating, which is horrid.
Figures he'd be involved with vip.
Also, it seems these things would be easily duplicated.

I know what you and Magnus are saying, but after all the grief they've caused VEI and delaying the fans of new Valiant books being released I won't give them a dime. The thought of supporting vip in any way(even for just a piece of memorabilia) makes me ill.

Definitely. I would feel dirty simply owning one of these.

Where is Naperville, USA? 28 miles north of downtown Chicago.

Is there any possible connection to be made based on location?

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Do you want an answer?

Because you might ask Graham Crackers Comics. :hm:

There thats the connection.

The dealer when I found it said something about Graham Crackers when I got it. He said that while Lovitz delivered it to him it was Graham Crackers who made the ashcan FOR VIP...YES I remember him actually say Graham Cracker...

:hm: indeed.
