Turok original art stolen
Collector Michael Chang of West Covina, Calif., has reported that on May 22, a number of original art pages from Gold Key's Turok Son of Stone and Valiant's later Turok series were taken from his home.
According to Chang, "All the art was stored double-sided in Mylar sleeves with backing boards in a black artist portfolio case with handle. I am offering a reward for information leading to the recovery of the art."

I second that. We bought our house eight years ago and one month after we bought it, two guys broke in and had stacked some items in our dining room floor, preparing to take them.slym2none wrote:People who steal are truly P.O.S.'s...

Fortunately, we interrupted them when we came in the back door and they fled out the front door. They didn't get anything, but we felt violated and unsafe in our own home for months. Thieves are scum.
I hope Chang gets his art back and the person responsible is prosecuted to the full extant of the law.

He posted it here first. I kept trying to remember his user name; there's a thread he started specifically about this and I was kind of impressed when TFAW.com sent me an e-mail with Turok stolen art as the title.Chuck wrote:Remember, Michael is one of us: turok7ManofTheAtom wrote:Collector Michael Chang of West Covina, Calif., has reported that on May 22, a number of original art pages from Gold Key's Turok Son of Stone and Valiant's later Turok series were taken from his home.

Hey Thanks everyone for your awareness and support. Its good to know I'm not alone in trying to hopefully recover this stuff and that there are GREAT people like you who care about this situation. Brent, the editor of CBG ( Comic Buyer's Guide) is also going to list this for me in the publication. I got my fingers crossed, maybe the art will turn up at San Diego Comic Con.Chiclo wrote:He posted it here first.
