What do you expect from a guy who can't spell his own name?
Perhaps he intends to take aim at something. He will aim.
That ought to keep his wife happy in the bathroom.
You think he might be trying to forge a peedigree?

Right, so I was watching this auction:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0123178330

And it ended without a bid, so I kept it on my watchlist. Maybe they'd re-list it. And they did.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0126265696

So, their strategy to get those Ashcans to sell this time is to raise the price 51 cents. Where are those Guiness guys? This is BRILLIANT! Now that it has a higher opening bid, I am even more likely to bid on it... hey wait.

I am not sure what kind of tape he is using on this, and I am not sure I want to know where you would get it. But I am sure someone here will post a link to where I can find some if the need ever arises.

It isn't bad enough that I used to stay up late browsing around for VALIANT stuff late at night, now I have been reduced to this. I may be holding the glass but I have yet to take a drink of the "DU" Kool-Aid.

Check out the descriptions.

Harbinger 1 variant cover

http://cgi.ebay.com/Harbinger-Ninjak-Va ... dZViewItem

So, I nicely emailed the seller.

Can you please tell me what is different in the "variant" cover of the Harbinger 1 than the regular cover?

Let's see what response we get. ;-)

Ok, so you guys gotta see the response I got. This is amazing:

Response from mraeroggio

Item: Harbinger, Ninjak, Valiant Comic Lot, High Grades (270137164979)
This message was sent while the listing was active.
mraeroggio is the seller.

I can try, according to Comic Values, Harbinger #1 had several different covers, including Sting, Torque, Zeppelin, Flamingo, and Kids. This is the Kids cover. All of these are highly valued.

I hope this helps,
A.

It would be a tight fit, but I think she and I can make this work.

OH! You meant like a comic box...

You could always use Flamingo.

Or Sting.

THAT TRAMP? No!

You might be on to something with Flamingo, though...

Which is why I am left with Zeppelin.

Hey - there's a sucker bourne every minute and this guy's trying to be the first to get to one of them.

Can't blame him for trying, but if he honestly expects them to sell for that price he's sadly mistaken.
