.. is that book that you love more than the rest and go out of your way to track down as many nice copies as you can.

My pet is:

Variant - Mag 0 - Still have a load of 'em :clap:
VH1 - Rai 3 - only have one 9.8 left :cry:
VH2/VH3 Armorines v2 #4 - Sold em all but plan on getting some more... so should you. :D

Really, the only book I go out of my way to find is Harbinger 1. I have about 12 of them now, but pick up every one I see that is in good shape.

That being said, there is something about Shadowman #1 that makes me pick them up as well. I still remember the ads for this book in Previews, the cover gave me chills!

Shadowman Vol:3 #3 I buy them whenever I see tham at shows, thats why I have 19 of them... :oops:

I mostly flip any dupes, but books I always look for and love to find are:

VH1 Last issues (esp. XO68, Bloodshot 51, Turok 47)
VH2 retailer reviews or last issues
VH2 Solar Hell On Earth mini & specials
Turok Evolution (wish I could find a stack of the EB variants)
Turok Shadow of Oblivion (found 5 or so in SD last year)
Turok Acclaim magazines
Any VH3 (Armorines, Shadowman, Q&W, Unity 2000)
Solar #1 (got about a dozen...keeprs for now)
Any Pre-Unity esp, Harbinger or Solar (mostly hoarding any I can find)
Also, cheap books with inserted VALIANT ERA or sneak peek & cards

Oh yea thanks for mentioning Bloodshot 51, that's just a spectacular cover. A 9.8 of that book would be pretty special.

I never really thought about it, but...

Magnus #1. I have 5 copies now. Didn't really buy 'em to horde, I just can't resist 'em when I see 'em sell for cheap.

And I have 14 copies of Harbinger #8. It must be that Frank Miller cover. :D

Probably not but there are also probably very few with more than 45 Rai 0's.

A couple of years ago I got a bunch off of ebay in lots of 5 to 10.

Anyways, I really like my cgc 9.6 Solar 10. I'm looking for a 9.8 for the right price.

No pet books.. although I was thinking of starting a pet book.. I have dupes of most of the first issues..

My 'pet' is my Binders project.. Im putting an entire collection in nice binders.. Ill post a pic once its done :)

Thats why Im trying to complete my collection.. want to finish this baby up!

So, I vote for Ice Cream!!!
