Wanted: X-O 1/2 Gold
Hey guys. I'm almost done. 12 more reg. issues to go and I'll have a complete run on VH1 (not the golds or VVSSs but I only need a few of them.)
So, anyway, I need this book. VF or better and I want to pay canvascutie prices (eg. $75-$80 shipped.)
Can anyone help out? I can pay immediately as I just got paid. ; )
Thanks!

I seen this one the other day. It should be what you are looking for.

I bought one from this seller, the book was a good deal and in great condition, it was shipped very quickly, no coa with the book though, but the coa is the same as a regular 1/2 anyway. I think several other boardmembers have bought from this seller also.tssgery wrote:This seller posts them every so often, probably 1 every 2-3 weeks.
To be honest I don;t know if they ever sell or he keeps relisting the same one.
I have noticed, however, that they keep going down in price

Are you thinking the value of the book is going to drop in light of canvascutie and this dude dumping these on the market?ckb wrote:The listing he has up there now is a "quantity 5" type deal. I wouldn't touch this book right now for anything over $50 postage paid.
I'm a buyer at $50 - I need one. One only though, I think these are bad news.
I think the value of this book has been dropping, because this book was severly over-hyped last year. This used to be considered the Holy Grail of anyone's Valiant collection.prismra wrote:Are you thinking the value of the book is going to drop in light of canvascutie and this dude dumping these on the market?ckb wrote:The listing he has up there now is a "quantity 5" type deal. This is a dutch auction guys with 5 books available, I don't think they will have 5 bidders right now so you will probably pay the $69 plus shipping. I don't understand what makes you nervous about this auction, the seller has good feedback and has sold other copies to other boardmembers successfully, if it's not worth the $69 to you I can understand that, but for any other reason it doesn't make any sense. I think this is probably this seller's last few copies and I think canvascutie is tapped out on this issue so the price should be increasing in the future. There are still plenty of collectors without this book.ckb wrote:The listing he has up there now is a "quantity 5" type deal. I wouldn't touch this book right now for anything over $50 postage paid.

XO .5 Golds seem common now because a few small stashes have been discovered. Once they're gone they'll be tough to find again. Perhaps not as difficult as before since I'm sure most of us would sell well before they hit $200. But who knows it could get there again if enough new collectors enter the market. Crazier things have happened.
