I have relatives who work in the t-shirt business, making, buying, and selling, so I could ask around to see how much it would cost to make up some quality shirts with artwork in them.dino wrote:I don't think that will be a problemThrillKillWill wrote:Would we have to get Dino's permission to get shirts made?
I would definitely buy one.![]()
I think T-Shirts to help promote the book are a great idea. If someone is heading this up pm/email me and we'll see about getting you some art from the HC
My question is, would they be to sell or to give away for free? They might ask and I'd need to know to figure out how much I can invest in them.
I'm going... I will hook you up. Just PM me a size.magnusr wrote:dino wrote:I think T-Shirts to help promote the book are a great idea. If someone is heading this up pm/email me and we'll see about getting you some art from the HC![]()
Not all companies would reason this wisely.
I'd be interested in a T as well, even if I can't make it to the show.

I know nobody in the t-shirt business. What would also work out well is if we got these shirts in advance enough that we were able to wear them to our LCS when we go to pick up our copies of the Harbinger HC. Then other customers that weren't aware of the HC would be bugging the owner about getting the books. Create a mania.

Great idea, but that's a little big for some sites/MBs.
Another idea is someone making up a promo poster, posting it up on here (or VE.com), so that people could print them out and hand them to comic shops or any other relevant place. I'd suggest including the Diamond order info on it somewhere as well.

I think he posted it in one of the two announcement threads he opened.
Crude, but effective. (I hope.)

Here's the info I got
Each t shirt (white, short sleeve, round neck, size XXL) is about 24.50 PESOS (roughly two dollars). If you want it to be a polo shirt (three buttons below the neckline) that one's about 39.30 pesos (roughly 3.50 USD)
Putting the image using a laser printer (I've seen the result and it's high quality work) is about 10 pesos (roughly a dollar).
I've looked and I can't find any bigger sizes, sorry.
Each shirt might end up running around five dollars more or less. What I could do is make shirts that are XXL and under while someone else (in the US) could handle the bigger sizes.
I'd need to know who wants how many shirts and what size. If you guys want me to do this we should set up some sort of deadline for how long people have to sign up for a shirt).
Here's the image I came up with for it (this is the JPEG version. The shirt would be done using a higher quality BMP).

Did you get valiant's permission to to this? I thought stuff like this was a No-No?ManofTheAtom wrote:Here's the info I got

The image I have on the comp is much bigger than this one (there must be a size limit on the board for linked images), but if you have any suggestions for other colors, I'm listening.Ryan wrote:Might want to consider changing the text a bit since it's real hard to read.
