Thwarted! Yet again!Chiclo wrote:My soul? Take Phil's. I keep threatening to donate it to the Mormon church anyways.Dr. Solar wrote:All right. They're all yours for $1.25 for the lot of five.Chiclo wrote:Wormholes go both ways.Dr. Solar wrote:Dude, I can think of TONS of reasons for not buying a CEAR for a quarter.Chiclo wrote:I can only think of one circumstance where I would not take a CEAR for a quarter.
If someone had cleaned biological waste of any description with it.
That being said, I have an admittedly limited imagination.
It was in a wormhole to another dimension.
The transaction also involved a red guy with horns of talk of "my soul" and "eternity"
It was booby trapped with death rays.
Some guy was trying to sell it to me while I was on the Titanic as it was going down
It was sold to me by a cross-eyed guy who said he would sell it to me but we would have to be best friends for ever and ever.
and on and on and on...
Others have traded their souls to me (Gmail invites) so I'd trade the Devil one of those.
Some people think MacGyver is a name. I like to think of it as a verb.
Titanic's already gone down.
The cross-eyed are easy to cheat, swindle or otherwise decieve. There's a CEAR in it for me, man!
And YOUR SOUL... HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!
His sister might appreciate this arrangement a little better. Phil is almost 19 and would soon have to leave for a mission.

I always considered ALIANT comics a little too violent for my tastes. WAY worse than those VALIANT comics.Rufusharley wrote:This comic is not for kids.

Here is one on the Star Wars side:

I haven't been pricing Star Wars stuff in awhile but $30,000 BIN seems quite excessive.

That other guy is El Arbinger. -o.slym2none wrote:Looks like this was a Puerto Rican comic, #1 of "IISITOR," and you do have to wonder what that guy's crotch is doing so close to the other guy's face. And just what is he doing with his hand to make it glow like that???

El Arbingero.
He works for Sven.
Don't we rip on vikescomics on eBay once in awhile? If not, sorry. If so, here's another winner.
Have a look at this auction
It's a cool book that I've been looking for for sometime now.
Here's one that ended recently. It brought $44.50. Not bad.
So I make a best offer to Vike of $40. He points that one just sold for $44.50 without the cassette, so his is worth more.
I point him to this auction for a similar book, still sealed. I also increase my offer to $45.
He declines without another word.
Don't know why I think that's so funny. He's going to sit a comic I want just because he's too dumb to take the money he's offered. I'm not sure how many times he's listed that same book, it just never sells.

He's listed the birth of defiant universe (many times) at something ridiculous like 79/129 (opening/BIN)...i've emailed him to suggest lowering the price but he won't budge, seems content to *SQUEE* money away on ebay fees.MagnusRF wrote:I was sure it was here, but was too lazy to look.
What a boob. $95? Again and again and again?

Vikes bought a set of Unity 2000 1-3 for something like $30 and posted them (presumably immediately - about the right lead time for shipping) on eBay for $70 for the set. He relisted it many times and even lowered the prices a couple of times. He ended up listing with an opening bid of $9.99 and sold them for about what he had paid in the first place.ThrillKillWill wrote:For those of us that are new here, what is the "Unity 2000 business" that you referred to?Chiclo wrote:I am all about pointing out why Vikes sucks, particularly after that Unity 2000 business.
That guy is such a goat.
um... the bad kind of goat. Not the kind with a cape.
It made me smile a little. Hubris always does.

The guy is completely off his rocker. Look at the BIN prices for his A&A commons on here, that is ridiculous.superman-prime wrote:this guy is trying to rip someone off

Some of them just skim through Greg's price guide, lock on to certain higher priced books and think they have them without looking to see if their copies are different in anyway.whovianone wrote:I asked him to explain it, and told him it wasn't a Gold. This is the 5th time in the last week I've done so, and all acted like they didn't know. You'd think with all the issues posted on ebay they'd be able to figure it out.
