Sorry, I said Wizard, but it was HERO Illustrated, and it is # 13. Nice cover, too. Chang/Ordway/Covalt. Has Mirage, Darque, Sandria, Shadowman, Solar, A&A and Eclipse on it. It is a foldout, too. The article has an interesting idea-sounds half true and half spin-on why they axed A&A. The skiiny is that it was such a BWSp roject that Baron and Vogel just couldn't do it justice. I wonder if they didn't end it out of spite to BWS for leaving the company, but, oh well.

Every once in a while someone will sell that fold-out as a poster on eBay.

Always sells for more than it probably should.

They sell the poster from HI # 13? wow. that means they rip the one in the middle of the mag, the one with the Chaos Effect story, right out of the magazine. I noticed the "tear" line and treated the section gently. I don't want to lose it. It's not the greatest piece of art or article, but it is better than nothing and it is VALIANT, so that makes it ok in my book. I have to ask, what is the highest you've seen people pay for it?

I can't recall specific prices, but I recall a figure of around $15 for some odd reason.

This one dude had several he was selling and they were framed. Fetched a premium - $20 or a little more.

20 bucks? that's a nice line of work, if one can get it. Wow, if I had seen more copies, I'd go back, buy them and sell. I could use it. Gas, food, diamonds for the little lady...Comic Books for me.(maybe a Bloodshot Platinum, or a full run of Magnus 0-12

I wonder which Valiant Fans bought those? I had never heard of the poster until you two mentioned it.

Every Sunday, I frequent the local swap meet near my house. When I see a box of comic books, I thumb through it. When I do come across Valiants, it's usually Rai 9 or Turok 1. Today I was pleasantly surprised to find Solar 1-6 in a box of various Marvels and Image books. In fact they were the only Valiant titles there. They are by no means in mint condition, but will make good readers. For fifty cents a piece I figured it was a good deal.

Two months ago I also found X-O 0 gold, signed by Joe Q. $5 for that one.

I just picked up 10 Bloodshot #1's for a buck for the whole thing, as well as Shadowman 3-5 for 50 cents each. I got Harbinger 7 for 25 cents and XO 6-8 for 25 cents each. All in all, it was a good day. I had these books, but extras that cheap are good, no? oh, yes, and I also got Magnus 10 for a dollar and 2 Solar # 11 for 50 cents each. The woman at the store was so confused. She just gave up trying to price them out of a book and gave them to me for cheap. I love working people for deals. It is a gift. 8-)

Nice going. As a general rule when that happens to me, the confused clerk won't sell me the item until he/she checks with the owner when they get back.

Got Solar 21, Magnus 12 & 19, Gold Key edition, in low grade-readable, but with wear-for about 30 cents each. I somehow missed picking up the two Turoks Gold Key's I saw. I also picked up a boatload of Unity books. I cleared out the place, pretty much. I also found a strange Bloodshot #0. The place above the price, wasn't filled in. Is that an error? is it known? is it worth anything?

Post a scan, if it is what you say it is it is worth majaor money (that is a lot of "it is"s). Is it just me or are these things popping up more often lately, may have to adjust the ten known to exist int he world. If it turns out to be the "platinum" your investment was well worth it.

I don't think it's a platinum. The place above the price is partially empty, partially obsucred by two "blobs" of red chromium. It's not a platinum, I don't think. It just looks like an error. If I can scan it(don't have one right now) I will post it.
