Collections
Would it be out of the question if I suggested that a list, similar to the collector's inventories that used to be on this page, be made for personal collections of Valiant original art pieces? I think it would be fascinating to find out what pieces are in private hands, and what remains in a drawer somewhere. This might be to personal though, I dont think some of the collectors would like it known they have so much.

Most of my stuff is archived on my site, however there's is a lot of
stuff that I've never got around to scanning. I concentrate mostly
on Solar & Magnus stuff along with anything Pre-Unity/Unity or related.

Re: Collections
Right on, both on the good side and bad side. It is unfortunately true that the behaviour of some people prohibits full disclosure of what you own. However, a list of what there is, would be nice for all. Both concerns would be addressed if there was an anonymous data base. Preferably with scans for all to enjoy. That would however bring lots of extra work to the webmaster that agrees to host the project...uruchuu wrote:Would it be out of the question if I suggested that a list, similar to the collector's inventories that used to be on this page, be made for personal collections of Valiant original art pieces? No, but I've bought art from a lot of ex-Valiant employees!I'm curious to how you come upon all the neat stuff dan? Are you an ex-valiant employee or something?
I started collecting original Valiant art about 6 or so years ago.
Back then, I was lucky enough to come across some
early Valiant pages and I've been searching for more ever since!
Also, at the time, Acclaim was doing the VH-2 stuff (which I followed)
and original art from them books could be found pretty easily.
