While you HAVE to assume it's a mistake, I sent this seller a message, saying simply "$801? Really???"

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

How many times do you see someone paying nearly double guide for mid-grade early Silver that's NOT a Marvel #1? ;)
The bidding looks weird on that one, it goes from $21.50 to $80 on just two total bids. How did that happen? The only thing I could think of is a reserve auction, but I thouight they usually say "reserve met" which I don't see here. :?

Shipping price seems to have dropped down to $8.10

Still seems a little steep, but much improved over the $801.00 it was.

What the hell, man?

They only posted pics of it in the visible light spectrum.

How's it look under black light? Microwave? X-Ray?

That is my LCS - they are the sellers.

And they were "out" yesterday, "not even enough to fill our subscriber's lists."

Really . . . that sucks . . .

My local LCS owner, Phil, said that he refused to do that to people. He limited everyonme to one copy and sold out that way.

It's less than 5 minutes away - the next closest is over 20.

I only am buying "Dark Tower" now anyways... they won't make much off of me.

I think a lot of shops are telling their customers that "shorted" tale this week.

I got an auction in today... a lot of Ultraverse books (I only needed ONE of the books actually) and I swear the lower left hand corner has been chewed upon by a cat. There is hair on the corner and you can even see the tiny tooth marks AND these books reek of smoke.

Image

Good ending though... the guy promptly refunded my money with an apology.
