I really like Mike Royers inks on the Mr. Miracle pages. His fluid inking suited Kirby’s style.

Thanks. I need to get a better scan of it. The image you see represents an 11x 17 scan area and the painting is 15 x 20. The snow on the rock in the forground has a texture which my scanner cant pick up. For those unfamilar with Val Mayerick the first time I remember seeing his work was on this:

I was scavenging about on Ebay about 6 months ago looking for Magic:the Gathering card art,and a guy had that Ice Age painting in his Ebay store. I bought it for right around $400. It's pretty awesome, and to me it was really cheap. It is huge,(the same 15x20) and I never knew he could paint. I rememeber his stuff from early-mid '70's Marvel books but it was basic comic art.

yeah, I looked on BWS web page, I'm ordering a litho, $50, not bad for litho AND personally signed by BWS!

A deal in my eyes. But yeah, his art is expensive!
