valiant.cbr?
is .cbr a bad word to use around here? Are there Valiant ones out there? Maybe the we could get our grubby hands of our old back issues, if you could just read them on the computer.

Something like Comic Book in RAR. .cbz is Comic Book in Zip. Simply a number of jpegs packed into one file. Everything in the Valiant universe is scanned. Back when the laws where different in Sweden I helped a group of dedicated scanners to identify which issues needed scanning. Lots of VH2, VH3, Magic and more exists. I have also heard of an incomplete torrent. I'm not sure what the current legal status is.Rufusharley wrote:what does .cbr mean?

You can download every comic book that comes out during the week on bit torrent. What does this mean. It means you can read them for free. You just need the viewer and the files. Each comic comes packed in a file called .cbr....I will have to punch you if you don't buy the ones you like though as I think the industry needs us to support it.
ps. I wont really punch you just be disappointed.

It was for me. I have all my valiant books put away and dont have to dig through to read the VH1 stuff. Just pop in one of the disks and look something up or scroll through and read an issue.depluto wrote:I'm not saying I have the entire VALIANT run on cbr, but if I did, it would be pretty damn convenient to read 'em on the PC.
