Just got some comics from BrotherJ - I have dealt with him more than I have with anyone else here, and as always, his services are exemplary!!!

Thanks, B-Roj....

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

I have to put in my shout out to all of the GREAT board members that have supported and are currently supporting the CF fund raiser. My raw data analysis of the funds raised so far by valiantfans.com is within a couple hundred dollars of twenty freakin' thousand dollars !!! And I know that there are still a few VfVSSs out there as well as outstanding auctions that a few of the guys are just waiting for them to end, donate for all in one fell swoop.

So we WILL break $20K this year for valiantfans.com !!!! Last year the ENTIRE city of Sierra Vista raised $22,400 SO.... with everything still going on, auctions to end and a few more next week and Stu's Valiant Zombies and Trent's Zoom Suit book still out there... well I would LOVE to see us go over the $22,400 mark so that Valiantfans.com can show this town HOW IT IS DONE !!! (well BTW, the $22,400 last year.... $17, 800 of that was from Team Alyssa... $10,400 of that was Valiantfans.com).

So, with all that said and done I give us a GREAT shot at passing $22,400 this year standing Sierra Vista on it's EAR. And even so, we will have done $20K in donations to the CFF !!!! This is OUTSTANDING....

IT is THIS board's members that are doing this great thing.... and I just wanted to thank you ALL !!!

Seriously, dude scores a major stash of one of the more desirable books in the VALIANT line and does he start flipping like mad on the 'Bay? Nope, he goes outta his way for our community. Not sure what kind of praise is really appropriate for such a class-act as John, but I'm voting him "VF.com Board-Member of the Year" for all the incredible stuff he's done to keep VALIANT on the radar of a lot of people. I guarantee you it goes way beyond just this project too.

So:    :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
A class-act for sure! Hat's off and Thank you again!

Major kudos to Rubiks-Q-Bert for the Unity #0 and #1 signed set. Not only was he great in keeping me up to date with the order status, but he also deserves major credit for selling this book for what he paid for it. We all know a lot of people would have put this on eBay and gotten top dollar. Luckily, I was the one who benefitted from this, as this set was one of the few fan projects I didn't own. Three thumbs up! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Been real busy lately... Just opened a bunch of packages I hadn't had time to get to earlier...

One of them was a package from Knightt. Everything was great!

It really made me smile to pull out the ValiantFans.com NY '06 t-shirt that Trent donated for the CF auction. I still remember Trent walking around the con getting all the signatures. I'm bummed, but still happy I have that shirt in my collection.

So, I guess I owe a huge "THANK YOU" to Knightt & Trent!! :thumb:
