what is on stadium? I only know of fun-4-all, vault of the midnight, and one (i forget its name) on campus. I mainly do my buying at comic city in canton.. they don't really have backissues though.

Wichita Kansas has been purged for the most part. Prairie Dog comics still has a warehouse full but they were trying to convince me that Eternal Warrior 50 is a $20 book according to eBay sales.
So I tend to stay away from them unless they are willing to offer me good deals. I'll do another run by there this weekend as I have to go visit the folks for my birthday

You'll have a better chance going to stores that don't sell their merchandise or check through ebay. Once they hook up with ebay, pretty much all good deals are off. From all the LCS I've been to, most of them don't deal on ebay and usually that's where I get all my good deals on the Valiant stuff. I think they're more happy that I'm buying off their Valiant books since they keep telling me that they don't sell pretty well.whetteon wrote:Wichita Kansas has been purged for the most part. Cincinnati is pretty much over.
Both the Harrison Rd. and Turfway Rd. locations of Comic Book World are lacking anythign other than some commons (although I did just pick up a full run of A&A from one of them for $20). Maverick's has a few left, but they are also commons. Queen City Comics is still pricing from 92, but you can still find the occassional Magnus #12 there or pre-Unity Rai. Cincinnati Sci-Fi is done for, and CCG Central I cleaned out about a year ago.

Even though I did find a Shadowman V3 #1 no price cover for $.50 there. They're not that bad to deal with.
GameMaster is where the older books are. He wants OverStreet book value for the books (yeah, I paid $5 for Harbinger #1 with the coupon), so if anyone needs anything and are willing to pay that for, let me know and I can go see what he has left.
Also, to BodaZofa,
I found some great books in KC over the past year or so, too. But for some reason the numbers have definately dried up recently.

Smile----it makes others wonder what you're up to!

hey hillman-i think fun4all was closed and now they're open at a new location-because i had never seen it before and then-poof there it was!
they don't have very many back issues, and the issues they have are stroed like 1/4 books but thye're charging 50 cents!
stadium has a very high turnover rate-i scored armorines vh-2 1-3 there, got my ninjak 11 (vh-2) and THEN managed to snag about 18 x-o 4's for less than a $1 a piece, rai 2,3,5 and a few other nice gems...he had just bought 7 long boxes from a friend of his as a favor (to me?!) and was giving them to charity the day after i showed up! talk about timing!
