Harbinger original cover art available to bid

Post by Howard Simpson »

Okay, let's try this again.

I am begining to offer covers and interior art for bid.

The first art available is for the covers to Harbinger 20 and 23 and one Deathmate promotional art.

I will take bids from now through Sunday, September 24th at midnight EST.

Please PM me with bids and I will update at least once a day with the highest bid.

Starting bid on each piece of art is $50.

I accept Paypal and money orders.

All art is on 11.5" x 17" Valiant sheet of 2-ply bristol. All art is very clean with a minimal amount of whiteout or other corrections (if any).

You can click here to see the art larger.

Nice!

Is the thirst piece Harbinger 25? The pic is from 24, but the text says 23.

Oopsies, I changed all to 24 now. I'll do 23 in the batch.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Agreed, but I'm sure #24 will go higher than I can pay.

Howard, I am glad that you are posting a bit. You have remained one of the people that I look forward to talking with every year at SDCC and your help with the CF fund raiser EVERY year is greatly appreciated. I am sure that the guys here would love to hear some of the great stories that you might have about the glory days of Valiant.

Good to see you...

Stories and bids

Post by Howard Simpson »

Thanks for the kind words Chris.

Unfortunately, I won't be typing any stories. I'm very bad and slow. It takes me almost a half hour to type a paragraph.

Seeing me at conventions and asking questions is the best way to get anything out of me. A free meal helps too! :D

As for the bids. The site was down for a while today, yet i received 4 notices of new PMs, however those PMs are not in my inbox. :?

So please send those bids in again, otherwise $200 is the highest bid right now.

I am proud and happy to announce that the cover I won is now in my safe care. While crossing the ocean it was also very safe as Howard's love for the art was reflected in the very safe packing he provided. I highly recommend everyone to deal with Howard. He for instance has a generous pricing on his commissions. Don't forget to buy him a free meal at a convention and get some stories :P
