All I have are a great piece by our very own X-O Hobojoe, a few con sketches (which a few more people... well, nevermind,) and this, which so far, is my favourite -

Cliff Van Meter's Shadowman helping out Katrina victims.

Thanks! You're right - it was the Valiant Vision issue of Solar. I was a huge fan of Joe Q as an artist in the early 90s. Not so much as an EIC :!:

LOL - I've actually posted to the Comic Art-L Yahoo group several times asking if anyone had art available from the Azrael mini-series. Sounds like you have good taste.

I've been able to track down the cover to Azrael #2, but the owner is dead set on keeping it. I would trade a kidney for the cover to #1.

Nice job even finding who bloody has it (!)

But how did you track it down? On Comic Art-L Yahoo groups? Do you have a link?

I remember seeing this cover at SDCC in 1999 at an art dealers table on the wall.....he had it priced at $1,000 at that time.

Would have been a GREAT purchase.

She would GET it....she was with me when I spent 600 on art with Jim Calafiore at SDCC a few years ago....I lived thru that....if I tried that in 1999 I would be sigle with Valiant art...

I have the 3M color art for this cover, not as cool as this piece or even the original color art, but still a neat item. :thumb:
