iron man
Hey Greg,
Sorry if this has been covered before, but why is the X-O and Iron Man stuff on the Vh2 lists? Didn't they come out right at the end of VH1 and about a year before VH2?

Those books are "in limbo" (or is it purgatory?) between VH1 and VH2...
Since X-O #68 says "The End?" right on the cover...
that seems like a good place to end VH1 and push X-O/Iron Man to VH2,
but since the "Valiant - Big V" is on the cover, that means they're closer
to VH1...
but we've found a copy of X-O Manowar Volume Two Preview with
the X-O / Iron Man cover (video game related), so that makes it
closer to VH2...
Etc.
Basically, no matter which one we choose, there's reason to pick the other.
So I keep going back to X-O #68 as the end of VH1.

OK, how about this then: It was Aric in the X-O armor. So I think it oughtta be VH1.
There was an ad in the back saying the VH2 X-O would arrive in October of 1996; I think it was actually a few months later (Feb. 97, according to the guide). But this comic came out right after X-O 68. So IMHO ... X-O 68 wrapped up the VH1 continuity, but the Iron Man stuff was still a VH1 project.
On a side note, the Valiant version was drawn much better than the Marvel version.
And this feels kind of like arguing where I should park my 8-year-old Corolla.

- If you gave Aric hugs and kisses, would it be XOXO X-O?

Let's ask Tony Stark where he thinks it should be.
Great. Not only am I out of shiraz, but now he's into the Grey Goose. I've gotta go.The conversation with Tony Stark went like this, so I wrote: Hey Tony! Where should we categorize the X-O Manowar/Iron Man cross-over?
What's that?
No, I don't want you to count all my jelly beans in the candy jar.
Tony, leave your pants on.
No, I don't think she's hot... she's my sister.
Jeez... could you at least not put the yellow ones... oh God... that's disgusting.
