I stumbled across this Bob Hall interview this morning.
Talks about Shadowman, Valiant, Layton, Shooter, Marvel etc.

Wish he would've talked about the characters on the books a bit more but it was an interesting interview. The first time I've ever heard the term "Kirby-phile". I like that :)

In the interview, Bob Hall mentioned that he did try to follow the suggestion to make Jack "more black" for a few issues. Anyone know what issues he was referring to?

I haven't read through them all recently. It's be interesting to pinpoint the issues in question. Shadowman V1 was consistently good till the end, I thought.

It seems like I remember taking note of some of that stuff while it was happening. I can't remember the issues either, but the change was fairly significant.
