Yeah, it is a very interesting championship. I gotta confess Sweden was lucky to get equality against Italy (though Zlatan's goal was the best so far in the tournament), but otherwise Italy has not played well. And it is a bit sad they way they try to blame Sweden and Denmark for their departure. For Andrea and other Italians that might read this, I'm sorry to be so frank, but that's the way I see it.dino wrote:England are out of EURO 2004!!! Becks missed a penalty, what a *SQUEE* captain. Portugal deserved the win but now Italy, Germany and England are out....thoughts? oh i mean Go lakers or something
I was expecting England and France to go to the finals (and I'll be in France when it's played), but now I don't know. France has a rather easy way to the finals, but anything can happen on the other half. Theoretically even Sweden could go to finals, but that's not a realistic hope.
I'm not much of a sports fan, but this will be good fun to watch. I did btw live in the US when the world championship was played there. Quite fascinating how different the interest is in the game in the US and in for instance Europe. A match that in Sweden has been called one of the ten most important moments of the century (note, not just sport moments), was played with not even half the stadium filled.

So how long before this winds up in TO? Just curious, i also like olives, but mostly I like black olives and not green ones....How come the BLACK olives are in a CAN and the other olives get to be in a nice glass jar...dont seem right to me....What is everyone ashamed of the BLACK olive...doesnt it deserve to be able to look out on the great grocery store aisle? Or is it kept locked in a can because of it ebony hue?

I just went to a rummage sale that advertised in the paper that they had comic books. Of course once I got there, I found the typical early 90's glut books, tons of Image, X-Force, and similiar crap. Not much DC. They had Valiants, but nothing worth anything. Everything was priced at a $1 each, too. They also had a ton of old Wizard issues, so they obviously bought into the hype like most of the rest of us. Well, at least they had some good prices on some recent CD's. I got like new copies of Notorious B.I.G.'s Life After Death and DMX's Flesh of my Flesh... for $1.50 TOTAL. Not bad!
PS: At least my post was about comics, you off topic suckers!

The first spiderman was fairly good but I think that this movie is going to be fairly good for all the reason that have already been mentioned...ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:Bleagh!
