The Ominous Universe
If you blinked during the 90's you probably missed this one.
Ominous didn't put out the world's best comics (the writing left a lot to be desired) but the art was good if you can get into Bart Sears' super-steriod style. I thought the characters and premises they promised (but most of which were never published) were interestng. But the company only did 2 plate sets and 3 actual comics (going on very fuzzy memory, correct me if there's more)! Does anyone what the heck happened to them?

All I could find listed on online comic shops was...stone384 wrote:Hey yea I remember this line. I think I even have one. Brutes and babes or something close to it. The numbering system was really strange using greek symbols or somthing. A complete list, short as it would be, would be interesting.
M
Brute and Babe: It Begins momument set
Brute and Babe: Mael's Rage (one normal sized comic)
Brute and Babe: Infinity (one normal sized comic)

I have that mini-comic too. It was from Wizard.
Kandora wasn't much more successful (however, much more recent with launching and dying this year). They had three published comics, one of which was made viewable on PSP.
At least Brutes & Babes had a long life in Wizard's Drawing Board feature (or whatever it was called).
