Well, I'm back, at least for a while. I will tell you mthis, don't catch this crap that's going around, I thought I was going to die. It took forever to get over and I actually went in and had tests done at the doctors because I thought it might be something else. Anyway, I se I've missed alot of stuff.
Good morning.

I just got my flu shot two days ago...we'll see if it does anything (or just makes dependent on the shot).

I'm building up my immunities the old-fashioned way ... by letting my kids get me sick 2 or 3 times every winter.

I just received my second flu shot yesterday. I received my first one at work a couple of weeks ago. Then yesterday there was a mandatory one for the guard. I didn't have proof that I received the first one and I didnt want to go through the hassle of obtaining the proof so I just took the extra shot. They said that it probably wouldn't kill me or have any side effects.

I got the first round a couple of weeks ago, so hopefully, only 1 or 2 more strains of flu to go this year.

I think that all of us who have kids get the crud every year, a few times in a row. This crap would go away and come back, and each time it seemed like my fever got worse, so it was not cool. Nasty stuff.
Good morning.

I remember hearing a story on the news last year when the flu was at it's peek. Some health expert was being interviewed and she said the best thing to do is to "stay home and not spread the virus to other people". Yeah, right.
