Long Overdue Kudos to VF.com Board Members
I'm lifting this topic from the CGC boards (aren't all great ideas stolen at least once anyway?).
The purpose of this thread is to provide a place to thank your fellow board members for any transactions you may have had with them, whether as buyer or seller or trader or whatever.
I'll start: Kudos to about 250 of you that I've dealt with in one capacity or another since I've been haunting these boards (and before too). There, now I'm all caught up!

Kudos to K_C Collectibles. Not that he's the only one, just the only one I worked with recently. Great packaging and product all around!

Wow. I've had some great dealings with several people here. First off, definite thanks to KC. I've bought so much from him I think that my mailman has a hernia now. Also, thanks to djm928, who's responsible for me getting my first Gold Key Turoks. Two thumbs up, guys!

I would like to thank Architect, Knight, Svair, GJB, and VK for transactions and for helping me in one way (or many) or another that they know about. Also, everyone who has done a VcVSS or VfVSS since I have joined the boards as I have been fortunate enough to get one of each of them! And of coarse anyone else I have forgotten that I have done business with. Oh, and Dawg for the great BBQ sauce!
I do chicken right!

WOW - who to thank... There are SO MANY people here! I will just say this - thanks so much to everyone who has bought from, traded with, or sold items to me. You guys are all helping me make my Valiant collection better in one way or another. I use the VAST majority of the money I make on ebay and through private deals here on the boards for comic related stuff like the trip to San Diego and to grow my collection.
I have near-complete runs of both Valiant and Acclaim and am now concentrating mainly on Valiant original and commission art like the Bob Layton "Class of 2005" piece I purchased. I would not be able to do that without all you great guys!
Chris
P.S. Special thanks to Greg for putting up this great site and giving me the ability to regularly talk to so many of you!!

I've made 2 large trades with GJB recently and he gets my highest recommendation If you get the chance, don't hesitate to deal with him.
Excellent, honest communications and great books. Greg, I'll always be grateful for that Turok EB variant.
And to anyone else I've traded with thru the boards, KC (of course), daydreams, etc. - highest recommendations. Not a single bad deal to date. Then there were the amazing board projects and the SolarFan 'get well' package - way to pull that together Jedi - and to all those who contributed

You are welcome, to all who have thanked me. As for my list, I KNOW I'd leave someone out, so I want to thank everyone as a whole (y'know, CYA technique.)
Thanks to EVERYONE who has dealt with me, either buying or selling. I have yet to be disappointed, and have faith that that will continue as long as I deal with you all here.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Thanks goes out to:
Sonicdan. The man makes sure you are taken care of and packs his stuff really well.
daydraemscomics. Zach found a couple of hard to find issues for me and they came in excellent shape!
Vaultkeeper. Steve is probably the best packer of comics I have ever seen. He packs his stuff almost to the borderline of obsessed! That's not a bad thing, that's a good thing!
hulk181man. Great trading with you man, I got a good deal and it came quiet quickly, packed very well.
ckb. Chris helped me out with some comics I was having trouble finding.
Thank you to all.
Last, but not least. If not for Greg, this site would not be here and I wouldn't have gotten such good deals on these books in the first place!

Good morning.
Greg gets the big pat on the back. This is the coolest site out there and it's been a blast sharing info, ideas, opinions on comics and a company that obviously had a little impact on our lives.
Hulk181man, like wise my friend, two deals with honest grading and secure shipping plus freebees! You get a huge vote of confidence from me. Thank you for the kudos!
Tcolli, he is a trusted buyer. He made some big purchases from me, and more importantly, he is a good person.
Technique, hooked me up with some sweet Acclaim and pre-unity Valiant issues.
whetteon, hooked me up with an X-O Gold, which I have had a hell of a time trying to find. Many thanks.
mrwoogieman, again, traded me an A&A Gold. Nice condition and another book I haven't been able to find.
All of the vcvss creators for their hard work and putting together some pretty damn cool fan projects.
If I missed you, I still appreciate you.

Thanks to KC who I've had numerous transactions with over a long period of time, and always been happy with.
Thanks to Daydream for selling me some really great golds back in '99 for cheap, and for the recent transactions as well.
Billandedsdeals, too. Great stuff.
And to Dave...even though I haven't done any transactions with him, he's been a rock for such a long time. You are one class act, man.

Yeah, I used to sell full time on eBay from 2001-2003. Had to give it up and get a "real" job because in Aug-Sept of 2003, the market was just stupid. I can't give away books for 10% of Guide in grade.dave wrote::
zeph (has he ever sold a comic?!)

And...I have a very hard time dealing with friends, because A. I don't want to sell something to someone for MORE than they could have bought it elsewhere, but B. I have an issue with selling stuff for less than I could fairly get in the open market.
So, the answer is: don't sell to friends.
Besides....some of you guys pay WAYYY more than I'd EVER pay for anything, and I'd always feel guilty about selling you stuff like that. I couldn't sell someone an Armorines #4 for $20, when I know damn well you can usually buy the whole set for just a coupla bucks more, but that's what someone's offering.
Now TRADES...trades, I can do.
