GalaxyCon San Jose - Aug 15-17, 2025

I have not been to a con in many years. There is one coming up near where I live (50 minutes or so). Bob Hall and Jim Calafiore will be there but prices are pretty high? Friday/Sat/Sun prices are $45/$65/$55. They also have 2-day and 3-day passes for $109/$125.

Are these prices common or is it because it's a show with many other celebrities and because the show is based in Silicon Valley. If I get a sketch from each Valiant veteran plus admission ticket, it can easily be $500+ without buy anything else.

Prices are pretty standard. I got something from both of guys last year. Hall at Lexington Con and Califore at Heroes and that's what I paid

For sure. Most of the older Valiant artists, like the two you just mentioned, you can can still get a lot of bang for the buck on the commissions. I've gotten others to commissions and paid more for less. As the price for original art went up the commissions did too.

Ticket secured. They have a 15% off discount ending today. Any boardies planning on going?
