I will keep mine short.
Roku's hair
I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

Sorry, that was mean.
Wow, pretty good over all. Not so much a relaunch but continuation, which I prefer.
Unity from Valiant, now Valiants.
Hard to say, as I came online immediately after reading it. Will re read it tonight.
Did feel The dialogue between myna and the general was a bit unnessacary - but thats just me being picky.

I appreciate Alien working hard to reinstall continuity in the books again. It’s a tricky balance as some stuff seems like years ago (Livewire taking down the grid in the East Coast) and some seems unnaturally forced (reference to Savage). But, they’ve got to pick it up somewhere so I think they’re doing the best they can after the last few years of absolute garbage.

The Valiants story was ok, good to see Ninjak drawn again by a decent artist who reflected how the characters looked pre DMG. The art by Al Barrionuevo reminded me a little bit of Doug Braithwate. There was enough her to make me pick up the Valiants #1 and give it a shot.

Ninjak v Roku. Odd choice to have 2 x Ninjak heavy stories in the FCBD. I think the artist got confused with the flashback sequence as he had Colin King and Neville Alcott wearing the same clothes as the present day which made for a confusing read.

Again, it was nice to see references to continuity with Angelina (who becomes Roku), this was a nice reminder as I’d totally forgotten that story. That being said, I don’t think Roku is an interesting enough character to warrant a mini series, the hair is a bit ridiculous. I’m not planning to pick up that series.

Overall a decent FCBD effort by Alien.
