My currently are:
Locate my collection of Spider-Girl comics and finish it and maybe look into getting TPBs of the series.
Get Dreadstar: The Guidebook and new Dreadstar GN and try to find First Comics Holiday Special.
Get Batwoman omnibus.

Comic Book New Year's Resolutions for 2024
Cool idea.
I’m moving into a new place, bigger and will look to set my comics up in a true comic room setup!
Having said that I’ve sold off some chunks of my collection and will probably sell off some more runs that don’t meet my longterm collecting goals - just not sure what yet.
I did pickup a couple nicer joker covers lately, and I snagged a tec40 that I’m really happy with. I would describe my 2024 goal as continue to work on finishing my Xmen and ASM runs, and perhaps I’d like to pickup one solid joker cover like a bat 11 in low grade.

Re: Comic Book New Year's Resolutions for 2024
Try to make more time to read all of the books in my collection. It was nice over Christmas break to read 4 graphic novels and immediately list them for sale. I have to do a better job of reading and getting rid of what I don’t want to read again. I have started collecting Star Trek (all series) paperback novels and there are hundreds of books available to collect. My wife says, “When are you ever going to read these?!”
I also started collecting Lee Child Jack Reacher hardcover books from the series and I believe there are 29-30 volumes out there to collect.
My home office, where I store all of my collection, is starting to close in on me. My wife believes it is early stages of hoarding.
Happy New Year!
Michael

I also have Batman 1-400 on my tablet, and my goal is to finish it this year. I don’t have time to read much else these days…golden age Batman stores are awesome!

My resolution is to continue paring down until I get down to 2 or 3 shortboxes. Anyone need anything?

I just sold my Xmen 300-500ish (incomplete) as I’m paring it down to 1-300, literally like two weeks ago!bobby97801 wrote:Finish my X-Men 100-544 run

Re: Comic Book New Year's Resolutions for 2024
I was going to post in this thread back in January to mention that I was feeling the urge to purge a little - this month I managed to do that extensively in my studio space area. I went through a hell of a lot of detritus from my past and cleared out a lot of stuff I felt no connection to any longer (including more personal things like crap artwork from my days in college studying illustration 25+ years ago).
A big part my reason for doing that was to try to reignite my excitement for drawing in my studio and getting to work on some new projects. It was getting a little overrun down there and that was causing me to almost unintentionally avoid that area.
I already feel better for it, and currently have about 5 long boxes worth of comics set aside to get rid of.

I like to draw stuff... http://grendeljd.deviantart.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
