Could Shooter have intended for Loremaster from Unity 2000 to be another variant of Phil Seleski? They both loved comic books.

Not sure who the Loremaster was intended to be. It's too bad U2K was full of little mistakes, using the wrong Solar 1 cover twice IIRC.

Also interesting that Gold Key Doctor Solar is canon as a comic book in Pre-Unity VALIANT, while the actual content of Gold Key Magnus is canon in Pre-Unity VALIANT as reality, not a comic book. Quite the mind bender there

Although it does really make sense when you realize Pre-Unity VALIANT is Phil Seleski's recreation of the universe, and having been a Gold Key comics fan would have subconsciously created a universe where Magnus's future would come about
