New article up on Screen Rant that they teased last week. Again, looking forward to some of these characters returning. Crossing fingers they do them justice. :hope:

When they announce the creators is when we’ll know if DMG have learned anything from the past 2-3years. If we get more ‘be better’ books then you know they’re done. Hopefully we get so A level talent who do the characters justice.

I like the new pin-up and seeing Ivar, Mirage, Divinity, and Roku right there, plus X-O in his proper armor.

Let's hope the "mind blowing sci-fi" comes from Dan Abnett! :hope:

Dan Abnett would be a good choice…might not be a huge band but he ‘gets’ the Valiant U and the characters.

Didn’t Dan Abnett write the Volume 3 six issue series of Shadowman for Acclaim? I loved that series and thought it was very underrated.

Yes, they certainly did -- DnA.

Issue #6 and then it got canceled....WTF!

Thanks for the link, Sonic!

I noticed a conspicuous absence of any Unity/Mothergod/Time is Not Absolute teasing.

Everybody remembers that tease on the back of the FCBD recently, right?

"Ooh" return of old villains in the Deadside. I guess in a way ANY villain who dies can conceivably resurface as a dead villain. Any ideas?
I've been looking everywhere for the ultra-rare Turok vs Blister issue. Anybody able to help me out?

I’d love to see Rai continue again and I’d also love to see Ivan once more. Reminds me I still gotta get the trade for it. One question though, whose the dude down by faith in the red and yellow

Got a feeling that dude is either Peter Stanchek or something related to the new Harbinger series.

Think your right saw the harbinger cover for #4 and it’s Peter. Shame I was just never into Harbinger.

Did you read the Josh Dysart Harbinger through to Life and Death of Tokyo Harada? The absolute cream of the crop level reading!

It's definitely Pete in his new super-stylish costume.

Yes, Dysart's "Harbinger Cycle" is a must read!

While I don’t think it’s terribly exciting news to “announce” that Punk Mambo is going to show up in a Shadowman story, or that Faith is showing up in a Harbinger story, I am glad they are promising a renewed focus on more continuity and look forward to hearing about who the new creative teams will be. Here’s hoping for some good stuff out of this - I’d really love to see a good storyline with Ivar in it again, and I miss Archer & Armstrong.

Hard to believe we are actually coming up to 10 years since VEI “re-launched” in 2012 - I am already feeling a ridiculous degree of personal nostalgia over the early years of the Dinesh/Warren era and I just can’t fathom the passage of time since those heady days of pure passion and excitement for modern Valiant.

And I should add that it’s extra strange to me to feel such nostalgia over Valiant comics from *only* 10 years ago because *I’m*an*old*guy* now, who should typically only be feeling nostalgic for the 90’s era of Valiant!
